Please don’t use this service. We tried RYDD for a while and they charge a hefty fee as we are a corporate … now I need a ride from Woodhill Country Club and they refuse to send a driver.
Istore has launched a scheme called Istore flex which allows you to finance a device without a cellular contract. About a month a go I found this out and I enquired about putting down a deposit and financing the balance. The answer was yes. I went to iStore Sandton drive yesterday and once again confirmed this was ok and I was again told yes. They explained which documents were required and I was to return today and we can get the ball rolling. I returned to iStore Sandton drive today, docs ready and deposit ready only to be told by them that they don’t accept deposits as part of the Istore flex finance option. I have now wasted time and fuel 3 times. Why won’t they accept a deposit?? This is someone actually trying to give you money and you don’t accept?! Business must be booming for you to turn away paying customers. Highly annoyed.
I recently had lunch with my family at Ocean Basket and was shocked to discover that prices have skyrocketed and portions have halved. I used to enjoy the platter for one for under R200 and shared it with my wife and we battled to finish it. The platter for one now costs R222 and the platter it arrives on is tiny and the food portion is about half of what the previous platter for one used to be. I have no problem with prices going up but for goodness sake, don’t decrease the portions!! You can do better Ocean Basket.
I have been an OUTsurance client for many years now, house, cars and personal. I have had a few claims in the past and OUTsurance have helped accordingly. For that I’m grateful. The issue here is that they have put a R10000 excess on any surge / lightning related claim a few years back and refuse to review it. I took their advice and put surge protection on my appliances and still they refuse to lower my excess. Now, thanks to Load shedding, my dishwasher has died and the consultant that OUTsurance has sent out told me in 1 minute flat that it’s surge damage. OUTsurance have informed me that I can go ahead with my claim but it’s still going to be R10000 excess. The dishwasher’s replacement value is about R15000 so I said to the consultant, “how do I replace my dish washer if you are going to take R10000 excess from this claim?” I was also told a while ago over the phone that OUTsurance needs to make some money back from me first before they consider my claims!! Are you in business to help people or just make money off of us? I have paid my premiums religiously for many years with all your increases. I don’t even call and ask for any reductions. Do I need to take my business elsewhere??
Classes are very thorough and understandable. Lots of good knowledge. Just wish it was properly live so that you could ask one on one questions with the lecturer. Other than that, very good. Thanks.
