RACISM AND SEGREGATION - https://twitter.com/ewnreporter/status/1607338961722114048?s=48&t=jDoAr6cFIpaF05Ut9qeBhA
Early last year We had a prepaid meter installed from The Meterman moving from fixed as We were looking to save on the monthly electricity bill. Further to that, We put the following measures in place for a household of 2x working adults: 1. No geyser is switched on EVER. We either boil water or take a cold shower on sunny days (which there is a lot of throughout the year) 2. We are predominantly at work for long hours so we cook about 3x a week at max and hardly use the oven. 3. We do laundry 1x a week With all the above measures in place, I still find myself having to spend over R1000 for electricity! How is that possible? 1. Meterman seems to have special rates or counters that just deplete your electricity quicker than other providers. 2. I find it truly disheartening at the amount of electricity we receive. for example, if I buy electricity for R100 I only get 40.70kWh. What happened to the rest of my money? Where is the value for money?!!! I am a very unhappy customer and I need answers because I feel there is an element of unfair trading taking place here!
