If I could give 0 stars I would. Gerhard has repeatedly **** to us. For instance - he said he properly earthed our electrical fence with 4 earthing rods near the box. After the fence stopped working, around 4 months later, we discovered he only put 1 earthing rod in. The poles are already rusting as they did not properly treat and paint them. He is a very aggressive man when you call him out on poor quality work and will take money for projects without delivering. He also does blinds, and took our money in September, without delivering the blinds. After months of badgering him, he finally gave us half our blinds in December(we also paid for installation, but he is unwilling to come and do it). It is now March and we are still waiting for the rest of our blinds and the installation thereof and for him to fix his work on our fence.
I honestly couldn't decide how many stars to give FNB. I have always been with them, and will not move banks easily as some of the processes and app functions are like no other! BUT, these days the customer service (not the friendliness, the actual service one gets) is ABYSMAL to say the very least. Nothing works on the app, and when you go in or talk to them via the secure chat, they treat you like an idiot and merely just say "follow these steps", but no one knows what to do when those steps does not work. Last week I had to tell an employee of FNB to please listen to me and what my query is, because they just kept defaulting to the steps and even though I told them I even went in and showed a FNB employee that the steps do not work and they could not resolve it, I just kept getting the same answer.... Ridiculous. I also have to yell and complain etc etc every time I try another/different service with FNB, because my details keep pulling through incorrectly. I have changed my surname multiple times over the last 2.5 years (in branches, on the app, you name it), and still the system sometimes (not always) goes back. Then my documents are incorrect, and it is a frustrating process to get it fixed. This also happens with my address. Sometimes it even goes back to my university address, which I haven't used since like 6 years ago. I am really getting tired of this. And no, I don't want anyone to call me from FNB, I am merely just hoping that FNB sees this and fixes their issues, because we pay more than enough bank fees to expect better from them!!!!
I wish 0 stars was an option. This company’s service is absolutely terrible. I am so fed up. I have been told since last Wednesday that my parcel is out for delivery. And everyday, no communication. Just repeated messages like this : Your parcel from SNATCHER DEALS ref OPT-360535747 could not be delivered.DPD Laser 010-600-2323. How could it not be delivered if you did not even attempt to deliver it? Getting really fed up. Why should I now try and call them everyday to hear what is going on?! Shouldn’t they contact me if something goed wrong on their side? I refuse to try that again because you get put in a queue of 80+ callers, with a waiting time of 30+ minutes, all on my cost. And EVERY time when I am finally first in line then the call drops. Then the process starts over again. You can’t email them because they do not respond. So please tell me how am I going to get my parcel???? Ridiculous. This is also not the first time this has happened to me with DPD Laser. Will not order from any online company ever again that uses this useless courier company.
This is now the 4th time that I order something online where DPD Laser is the delivery company and the following happens: My order is shipped on time, then it is just logged that they couldn’t deliver, but no one called me, messaged me, emailed me… nothing! Then after a few days the tracking says again: Out for delivery today…. And then again back at depot or couldn’t deliver… No communication whatsoever. And emailing them only gives me a ticket reference number, but still nothing happens! I have no idea if my parcel will ever arrive! It’s ridiculous! Order number: ODOJF4568252S1

I am having the worst service delivery ever from this company. I cancelled my service on 17 March 2022 after a week of emailing and calling as their online portal didn't work. I then succeeded to cancel through their portal on 17 March 2022 and gave notice in April (one calendar month as per the contract), but they invoiced me for May, deducted the debit order and are just ignoring all my calls and tickets logged. They are now saying the cancellation does not show on their system? Even after they called me before and after I cancelled on 17 March tp confirm why I am cancelling and saying "okay we will process the cancellation"... I have proof of all the emails, the whatsapp authorisation you have to do to cancel, everything... I'm sure they will even confirm this if they go through their call logs from beginning of March to the 17/18th of March.
Does not even deserve one star!!! These people are incompetent and THIEVES!!!! I cancelled my service on 17 March 2022 after struggling for weeks to get the Home Connect team to assist me in the cancellation. Eventually after numerous phone calls, I was sent a link to follow and cancel on the platform. I cancelled on 17 March on the platform and approved the request to changes on my profile on whatsapp on this date. We knew about the one calendar month notice and gave it. Thus meaning at the end of April our contract will be cancelled.... or so we thought... Then at the end of April I get an invoice for May. I call them numerous times, email them etc. and they just tell me my cancellation does not show on the system, even after their team called me to confirm my cancellation after following the whole process!!!! They tell me they will follow up, look at call logs etc... but NOTHING!!! and now they are just ignoring me and trying to deduct money from my bank account!!! I can prove on my browser and on my whatsapp that I followed the process!!!! I hope you never have to cancel your service with this ridiculous company. I still do not have answers!!!!
I placed an order on 6 March 2020 and received a confirmation email, but no further communication since. I am worried I have thrown money in the river. Very bad customer support. Is this a scam?! Beginning to think so
Home Connect doesn't even deserve one star. I am still waiting on someone to contact me with regards to my application (which has been approved over a week ago) and arrange delivery of my router and installation. The debit order is set up and everything - but I am not receiving my products / any service for that matter.
