DPD Laser
Based on recent customer reviews, DPD Laser faces severe and systemic service failures across every dimension of the customer experience. Customers consistently report undelivered parcels, dishonest tracking updates, unreachable call centres, lost or misdelivered goods, and hostile frontline staff. Positive experiences are rare, typically praising individual drivers by name, but these are overwhelmed by a volume of complaints describing a fundamentally broken courier operation.

shocking service. guys dont use this courier company. the call centre is very unprofessional. They are constantly dropping calls. i have been waiting nearly a month for my parcel and they say they dont know where it is. nobody is taking responsibility. i have now again spoken to Seipati who after 8 minutes of holding just dropped my call. i have requested to speak to a manager and then they drop the call. i am at my wits end as i need my parcel it is a text book and my son is writing exams.

This is a BS delivery company. Their delivery people dispatch your items and take them back without even attempting to deliver and just mark your parcel as "unable to deliver" no call, no email no nothing, I've sitting at home for two days and both days same thing with this nonsense. When you call them the call centre says the driver has met their delivery quota for the day and cannot deliver anymore, it's ****** 3pm in the afternoon who in their right mind comes with a quota model for a delivery business where people are expecting their parcels. I won't be able to gift my wife tomorrow for her birthday because of this nonsense company. Two days they did this and now I have to wait for Monday because their drivers are lazy ***s drivers

They were supposed to deliver my order from Amazon. The security in our estate advised that the driver arrived at 17:11 so I waited outside my house. Next thing I get advised by security that he left at 17:28. He spent 17 minutes and failed to deliver. Then I started to get emails from dpl. First, more information is needed". Then the below delivery failed as the customer has moved." I have been in this house 10 years, so I rep**** and gave the full information, confirming my address. " The next email asked me for my unit number! I rep**** with info again that this is a house in an estate. This morning another email saying "Kindly note the below delivery failed as the customer moved. Kindly advise if the below address is correct so that we can arrange delivery." And the address they quoted was the correct one which they had from Amazon, - Unbelievable!

The call center staff are absolutely rude and dont have a clue on what customer service is. They dont have managers to escalate any issues to and can neither make contact to delivery drivers. I've been getting messages day my order is out on delivery and will arrive by latest 18h30 for the past 2 days. There tracking system is useless as it says out on delivery. Pathetic service.

A DPD Laser delivery driver (Joseph Molefi - if thats his real name) delivered 2 boxes to me. One box was open. I asked him why the box is open. He rolled his eyes. I asked again why the box is open. He then took my packages and loaded them into his bakkie and told me that he has cancelled the delivery and I should ask for another delivery. My issues with the gentleman and DPD Laser: 1. He thought it is OK to deliver an OPENED package, without explanation. He simply handed it to me as though its business as usual. Why is my package opened? Had it been a more valuable package, would I have even received it as sent by my supplier? WHY IS MY PACKAGE OPEN?????? This driver simply could not have been bothered with client service! He had an attitude when responding to the questions I had even went as far as rolling his eyes at me, regarding an opened package (why would he even feel comfortable delivering an open package???) 3. He did not give me options on how to deal with the issue on hand 4. He constantly spoke over me, when I tried to express my dissatisfaction with his attitude and the opened package. I cannot even begin to explain this gentleman's disrespect for the company he represents and the utter disregard he has for clients. I call the call centre to try and report this incident - NO ONE CAN HELP ME.

Based on recent customer reviews, this business delivers a consistently strong customer experience anchored by outstanding agent quality and rapid communication. Customers frequently name individual consultants and praise their friendliness, patience, and professionalism. Recurring praise is given to claims and roadside assistance, though a vocal minority report frustrating delays, rejected claims, and poor transparency around premium increases.
This business's biggest strength, according to Hellopeter's AI analysis, is Agent Quality & Customer Care. Named consultants are praised repeatedly for patience, friendliness, and going above and beyond. Words like 'amazing,' 'star,' and 'gem' appear frequently, reflecting genuinely caring human interactions.
The most common complaint, based on Hellopeter's AI analysis of recent customer reviews, is Pricing, Premiums & Transparency. Customers appreciate premium reductions upon request but complain about unexplained annual increases, hidden excess charges, and debits continuing after cancellation. Transparency at policy inception is a recurring gap.
