Donald and Thokozani Very good service received
What a useless company to order books from with no customer service. Ordered books for our school, didn't have stock of most of the books so I went from shop to shop to buy. They must refund us R36 000. Almost 2 months later no payment received. I have send numerous emails, tried phoning for 2 days, almost 15 + calls a day and no one answering the phone. Will never do business with them again or recommend them to anyone!!!
I have never received such bad service as from First National Bank. Since I opened my account there has been issues! When FNB contaced ME to open an account, they promised me to give me 24 months free banking after 3 months that the account has been opened! They have deducted R230 since the day that my account has been opened. I phoned Quinton (who opened my account and who promised all of this) regarding this matter. He just logged and inquiry/complaint that I could have done myself. They said they will phone me in 2 days, but still no call was received regarding this!!! This is totally unacceptable! I don't have time to check upon my bank every month to make sure that they don't steel my money! I contract was signed for free banking, yet I pay the fees and best part is they NEVER phone you back!
This is really the worst bank that I have ever dealt with and won't recommend them to anyone! After getting a home loan from FNB they told me that if I open a FNB bank account they will give me extra 0.25% discount on my interest rate and only then will they activate my Flexi bond reserve (which was one of my requirements before signing for the home loan). I opened the account within a couple of days after their call and immediately informed the attorneys of the new account details. I have send through my debit order form on 07 July with the FNB banking details where the debit order needs to go off. I changed all my other debit orders and was no longer using my old account. My 1st debit order was supposed to go off 25 September. 25 September FNB tried taking the money from my old account (where there was no money in, because I moved it to FNB as per their request). I immediately transferred the money and also logged complaints for FNB to phone me back, because 2 other calls got cut while talking about the issue and the agent can't even phone back! October FNB AGAIN tried taking money from my previous account, WHICH DID NOT HAVE MONEY IN, BECAUSE EVERYTHING WAS MOVED TO FNB! I now have a bad credit score due to FNB using wrong banking details. FNB is also treating me now with a bad credit score etc. If i don't pay the bond etc. The money is in my FNB account and I have said over the phone and on email that I would gladly transfer the money, as soon as FNB confirms on email that they have cleared my name at the previous bank, my flexi bond will be activated (once I pay this months installment) and that my extra 0.25% will be given off and that they have changed my banking details for the debit order. I still have not received any of this confirmation from FNB, there is still just agents phoning me about the payment due! I have never received this pathetic service from ANY bank before!!! WORST DECISION TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH FNB!
I’ve been trying to close my overdraft for over 2 weeks now to be able to close my Absa account! After signing and sending back the document needed, I received a mail back saying they tried phoning me, I didn’t answer so they are closing the case! I had ONE missed call from them! They requested I must send the signed document again to be able to close the account. I have done that 3 times again and STILL haven’t received a call or mail, nothing!!!! I want to close the account, but looks like Absa just wants another month of ridiculously priced banking fees, interest rate etc out of me before they will close it! Pathetic service!!
