I took my car to BMC Workshop at 69 Watkey Street, Orangesig, Bloemfontein 9301 and the service that I got was unpleasant at all. I waited almost two months to get my car from that workshop. The problem that I had with my car was a gear box and I spoke to the owner of the workshop by the name of Frans what he said to me was that for me he could get me a gear box from Cape Town and that gear box cost R15, 000 and his labor is R4, 000 and courier is R2, 000 all in all I paid him R21, 000 thousand to get my car fixed but still my car it's not okay. Last month when I went to fetch my car I asked him invoices of were he bought the gear box and courier he couldn't give me them and he said to me I must come the next day for the invoices. I went to him and he said to me that he forgot and he will call me once he got them, still to date he never called me. And I also said that I want my old gear box back to my surprise he said to me that the gear box was a trade in. So I felt like he only repaired my old gear box and there was no box that he bought from Cape Town and if there was a gear box that was bought from Cape Town all I need is those invoices because I believe they are mine since I am the person who bought that gear box even the courier one cause I am the one who paid for it. I am not happy at all with the service of BMC Workshop it clearly shows that they are used to chow other people's money. All I want is my invoices if there are any no invoices I want my money back that's all that I am requesting from him. And his numbers are as follows 060 672 3117
Firstly I would like to apologize for giving you the wrong address about the experience that I got. The business that I wrote a review about is BMC Workshop, 69 Watkey St, Orangesig, Bloemfontein 9301 instead of 49 Watkey Street, Orangesig, Bloemfontein 9301 and the owner of that workshop is Frans and his cell phone number is 060 672 3117 and in the first address I wrote 49 instead of 69 my humble apologies in terms of the above.
I would like to write this review based on the service that I got from BMC Workshop in Bloemfontein and the street address of that workshop is 49 Watkey Street in Bloemfontein and the email address is fransvanaardft02@gmail.com. I took my car to the above mentioned workshop to do convention on my car and I spoke to the owner of the workshop who advised me that doing a convention will definitely damage my car as I have to change the wiring of my car and I will also struggle with parts if it happens that something happens to my car based on convention. And due to the fact that I am not a mechanic I took his advice and he said to me that there is a gear box in Cape Town that he will organize and the only thing that I have to do is to pay R15, 000 for the gear box and his labor is R4, 000 and he will pay for courier. On that day I had R3, 000 on my disposal so I paid him that money as a deposit for his labor and I deposited 15,000 into his bank account so that he can get the gear box from Cape Town. After depositing such amount of money then he said to me I have to pay for courier there is no way that he can pay for courier and he said he will pay for courier and once the gear box has arrived I will have to pay him the rest of the amount and I agreed to pay him the outstanding amount which is R2, 000 for courier and R1, 000 for labor. And he guaranteed me once I pay R15, 000 for the gear box it will only take two days to get the gear box and I will only get my car after a day once the gear box has arrived. And to my surprise it took him almost 2 months to get my car. Every time when I went to his workshop he will say that he took the gear box to gear box center to check whether is it in good condition and he will call me and he never did that. So every time I had to call him or send him messages to find out how far is he with my car he will always come up with all sorts of stories. On the 26 Of August I went to him and he said to me that the is nothing wrong with the gear box the problem lies with the oil pump, air filter and oil. I paid him his outstanding amount of R3000 to my surprise again there were certain parts that were missing in my car I decided that I am going to take my car before he damage it further. When I took the car I also wanted my old gear box together with the invoices were he bought the gear box and the invoice of the courier he said to me that the gear box was a trade in something that for the first time to hear I said to him okay we're are the invoices for the box and the courier he couldn't provide me with one till today I feel that in the first place there was no gear box that he brought from Cape Town and he can't even provide me with the invoice of the courier. All I want is my old gear box together with the invoices that shows that he bought the gear box from Cape Town and the one of courier which amounts to R2, 000 plus the one of the gear box which amount to R15, 000 thousands. I am not happy with the service that I got from that workshop at all they rope people their money. Thanks to hello Peter for intervining I have manage to get my money back from motor city auto spares after I have posted my complain to them. The sales man by the name of Chris called me back and assisted me with my problem.
On the 22nd March 2020 I went to Johannesburg to buy a gear box for my car worth R7500 at one of the s**** yard by the name of motor city auto spares. To my surprise when returned back with the gear box it was a wrong one. Due to lock down I had to wait up until the shop was opened. Then on the 6th of these month I had to drive back to Johannesburg for exchange and the salesman together with the owner of that s**** yard they told me that they can only be able to assist me with the gear box the following day which is the 7th but I have to pay for courier due to the fact that they have given me a good deal in terms of the box. I didn't had any problems with paying for the courier then on that day I returned to bloemfontein without the gear box. They never kept me posted on any devopments I was the one who was calling them to try to find out how far are they with the gear box up until I organized myself one on the 13th of this month and I did get my gear box late that night. To my surprise again they have given me the wrong gear box again and I tried to call the salesperson on his phone to explain to him that he has given me again the wrong gear box he never answered his phone I left him a message stating clearly that he has given me the wrong box again but he never called me back up until to date. I am still stacked with the wrong gear box and I have already paid way too much for the box and for the courier l am not satisfied with the service that I got from that company their service is very poor thy don't take their customers very seriously for the mere fact that I drove all the way from bloemfontein to Johannesburg. All I want is to return their gear box and get my money so that I can organize my self one because their service is poor and they don't take their customers very seriously you have to call them constantly in order to check for your product.
