My property in Highveld, was on the market for three months with a total of five agents handling the marketing. I signed a mandate with Maritsa Brandt (iSearch Properties Centurion) on November 13th, 2024, and by November 29th, I had accepted an Offer to Purchase. Throughout the process, Maritsa kept me well-informed and consistently brought potential buyers. Her positive attitude, warm personality, and professionalism made the experience a pleasant one. I can definitely recommend Maritsa as an estate agent.
I would prefer giving no star at all, but unfortunately it’s required to select at least one star to continue with the review. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Living without a kitchen for 5 months was a major inconvenience. To make matters worse, there was a lack of respect for the client, and the quality of work and service was subpar. Communication was poor throughout the process, and there were unnecessary and additional expenses that added to the stress and frustration. These are just a few of the many problems I encountered during this frustrating process. Throughout the process I brought the problems with regard to the installations, bad service, unnecessary damages (even to the newly installed cupboards) under the attention of the branch, Head Office and even KSA. The only reaction I got was Head Office urging the branch to complete the process as soon as possible. At this stage, it was already August and 4 months since the initial installation. The process started in February, I received the first quotation in March and the first installation was started on the 15th of April. The last installation was started in August. From the 1st of August only, I sent over 12 mails and documents with detailed information and photos as proof of my complaints, but it appears that it was only a waste of time and energy. At no point during this process, any work was correctly completed the first time. The second installation was completed, but 90% of all cupboards/panels are damaged in some way. I just wish their service providing was as prompt as the mails regarding payment, even though the work is not completed according to the standards and quality they pride on and advertise in the media. I stressed the fact that I won’t be able to recommend the company for either excellent service, craftsmanship, affordability, quality or respect for the customer, several times. However, it appears that they really just don’t care about their reputation (based on customers’ experience) or the lasting impression they leave.
I didn't want to select even one star, but unfortunately had to in order to continue. I've ordered flowers on the 5th for Mother's Day, to be delivered on the 9th of May (rather early and to make sure my Mother receive the flowers in time). However, even by Sunday, still nothing was delivered. When I contacted NetFlorist on Sunday, they informed me that they've cancelled the order, since they do not have a florist in the area!? I did order flowers marked as 'Nationwide', the order was accepted and obviously I paid for it. Furthermore, I was not informed of this 'issue', no notice was given on ordering and I didn't receive any communication of any sorts. I insisted on an immediate refund, but apparently communication is not their strong point! Three days later and there is still no feedback from their side. The status was changed on-line, but I don't have a clue on the progress, actions to be taken or expected date of payment. And once again they advertise on their site if you missed Mother's Day, NetFlorist can still deliver ... well, I missed Mother's Day, but only because NetFlorist did not deliver and provide a service the client paid for! Does this count as False Advertising!?
