Had 2 rentals with woodford over the last couple of weeks , however I can confirm that I am not happy with the ********* way they do their business. I booked a vechile and at the time of collection on the 4th October 2025 I was upgraded to a much larger vechile as the specific vechile was not available. The upgraded vechile was way out of spec for my needs and this caused my selected insurance cover to be in excess of R4000 and much higher fuel consumption. I contacted the customer service of which I received no satisfactory reply so I returned the vechile one day later. The vechile I rented from around the 7th September 2025 which I returned around the 4th October 2025 picked up a nail in the tire and I am being charged R2500 in damages ? How can damages be R2500 for a puncture ? This has made me now take a decision that I will not rent a vechile with Woodford again so they have lost me as a customer
How useless they are , again I had items missing in my delivery. My last 3 deliveries 2 of them had missing items and yet I have not even had a reply from the previous delivery with missing items.
No response after numerous emails sent to them including whatsupps and calls made. They have to date after several months not returned any refund they owe and they added additional charges to my e-tols bills of routes I have never travelled.
Makro is useless and no customer feedback. Is there actually managers at Makro as you can complain but nobody contacts you baxk or is the managers just as incompetent as the rest?
I made an online purchase on the 30 April 2020. I also made several other online purchases after this date. On the 9th of May I received the latter orders but not the package ordered on the 30 April. When I enquired I was told Makro did not receive my payment, however the payment was received and banked by Makro after confirming with my bank. Since then after sending several emails I have had no feedback from Makro and I am now to believe Makro stole my money. This gives me no option to proceed with a case of theft against Makro seeing that I do have all the evidence on hand. It seems there is no leadership in Makro, I have requested in all my mails that a senior manager call me but to date I have received no call. This is shocking that we as customers spent so much money at Makro and this is the way we are treated.
