Webuycars just did an evaluation on my daughter's excellent condition 2015 BMW X3 2.0 X-Drive and offered her 150K. They cited visible resprays. I know for a fact they are talking **** because I am a car rebuilder. These idiots would say anything to a woman to get her to sell for less. Shame on them and their ethics.

Unprofessional refund delays! After supplying all details for a transaction, the transaction could not be concluded, due to WBC Midstream not being capable to comply with a request for details relating to faults listed. I cancelled the transaction and request KevinM to refund my holding deposit Saturday. I am told this afternoon (3 days later) they need my credentials To process the refund - all of which they have e already! Kevin has ghosted me ( not accepting my calls), and their call centre confirmed that there is no phone number for Midstream branch , and that I have to deal with Keven!

Extremely disappointing company to deal with – my experience with WeBuyCars I sold my car to WeBuyCars, George branch, and asked them to assist in transferring my personalised licence number from the old vehicle to my new one. I was told this could be done for R1,500, which I considered excessive, but I reluctantly agreed. The amount was deducted from the price they paid me for my car. For two weeks I heard nothing from them. After numerous phone calls and emails, I was eventually informed that the registration of my old car had been finalised without transferring my personalised plate. In other words, the service I had paid for was never done. I was forced to arrange the transfer myself. When I requested a refund of the R1,500, it was flatly refused. I find this behaviour completely *********, especially from such a large and well-known company. Be very careful when dealing with them.

I have never in my life experienced such a nightmare with a company, and I have to warn others about what I’ve gone through with WeBuyCars. I attempted to purchase a Renault Duster 1.5 dCi 4WD from them, a vehicle that was advertised as “A Rated” and in excellent condition. What followed, however, was three weeks of lies, contradictions, hidden faults, and outright disrespect for my time and money. From the very beginning, I was told that the only issue with the vehicle was a minor hooter wiring problem. Based on this information, I went ahead with the purchase, arranged time off work, prepared my trade-in, and even activated my insurance. Shortly thereafter, what was initially presented as a small, insignificant fault suddenly escalated into what was described as a massive wiring issue, with wires allegedly cut in multiple places. How a defect of this scale could have passed through a Dekra inspection without being flagged is beyond me and raises serious questions about the accuracy and integrity of the inspection process. At one point, I was assured by Anthony Coleman, the sales executive handling my purchase, that the repairs would be carried out at no additional cost to me. Yet, later on, he contradicted himself and told me I would now suddenly be responsible for paying for the repairs if I wanted the vehicle, a completely unacceptable and misleading turn of events. To make matters worse, I was consistently given conflicting information throughout this entire process. For example, Joshua, the sales representative, would send me WhatsApps in the morning assuring me that the vehicle was repaired and on its way for roadworthy testing, while Anthony would phone me later that same day to say that the car had not even been fully repaired and was still on its way to the mechanic. This constant back and forth wasted weeks of my time, left me frustrated and confused, and destroyed any confidence I might have had in the process. Each time I was told the vehicle was finally ready, I would arrange more time off work in preparation to collect it, even having to take unpaid leave at one point. This cost me not only money, but also leave days and credibility with my employer, as I was repeatedly forced to change my plans because of the false assurances I was being given by WeBuyCars staff. Just when I thought things could not get worse, after being told that the car was finally ready for collection, Anthony phoned me to say that during the roadworthy test it was discovered that the four-wheel driveshaft was missing. At this point, I was left with no choice but to cancel the deal completely, as the situation had become unbearable and I could no longer trust a single word being told to me. So after three weeks of stress, wasted money, and endless contradictions, I was left with absolutely nothing. No car, lost income, wasted leave days, unnecessary insurance payments, and a complete erosion of trust. This entire ordeal has felt like being ****med. I was misled, contradicted, and deceived at every step of the way, and at this stage I have zero faith in WeBuyCars. A company of this size should not be operating in such an *********** and misleading manner, leaving customers like myself out of pocket and emotionally drained. I have requested a full refund of my deposit, which is the bare minimum given that none of this was my fault, and I would have gladly taken the vehicle had it been in the condition I was constantly told it was in. But the damage to my trust, time, finances, and peace of mind cannot be undone. WeBuyCars has lost all credibility with me, and I strongly urge anyone considering buying from them to think twice. My experience has been nothing short of disgraceful.
