Whybuycars
Based on recent customer reviews, Whybuycars receives sharply divided feedback shaped largely by individual sales consultants and post-sale service. Customers consistently praise specific staff members across branches such as Riverhorse, Rustenburg, Dome, and JHB South, highlighting patience, professionalism, and clear guidance during vehicle inspections. However, a recurring theme is frustration with undisclosed vehicle defects, delayed or withheld refunds, and poor communication after the sale. Several reviewers describe being ignored or ghosted by staff when following up on repairs, holding deposits, or licence plate transfers.

WeBuyCars in Germiston made me pay for a service and vehicle delivery to Durban that were never done. I'm still waiting for a refund till today. Actually I collected the the car in Germiston on 21st March 2026 and did a major service on 28th March 2026.

I'm writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I've received at Webuycars Germiston branch by the manager. On 26th February 2026, I purchased a 2018 Volkswagen Polo TSI from you. During the handover, I noticed the driver's side front light was loose, which wasn't noted on the report. After discussing with the salesperson, it was confirmed that the radiator cradle needed replacement. We agreed that I'd take the car and Webuycars Germiston would arrange for the repair at Webuycars Polokwane even ask for a conformation by email which I got but every time I ask for an update, I get no response. I've heard nothing since.

In December 2024 I was in a process of purchasing a vehicle with WeBuyCars. I paid my first amount of 20k and after that the salesman told me of issues with the car that was not on the website upon purchase. I then decided to cancel the deal. After a long back and forth I only received 16k. Till now I haven't received my 4k. I have sent several emails and instead WeBuyCars is blatantly ignoring me. This is a huge **** and I just want my money that is all

Webuycars just did an evaluation on my daughter's excellent condition 2015 BMW X3 2.0 X-Drive and offered her 150K. They cited visible resprays. I know for a fact they are talking **** because I am a car rebuilder. These idiots would say anything to a woman to get her to sell for less. Shame on them and their ethics.

Unprofessional refund delays! After supplying all details for a transaction, the transaction could not be concluded, due to WBC Midstream not being capable to comply with a request for details relating to faults listed. I cancelled the transaction and request KevinM to refund my holding deposit Saturday. I am told this afternoon (3 days later) they need my credentials To process the refund - all of which they have e already! Kevin has ghosted me ( not accepting my calls), and their call centre confirmed that there is no phone number for Midstream branch , and that I have to deal with Keven!
