To all AfriHost fibre clients. Do not be fooled by the automated e-mail sent to you by Gian, the CEO. There is no silver lining. What it is is a R 100 ( 20 %) per month price increase, period. These special rates he's referring to are savings that was passed on to all OpenServe ISPs, AfriHost being one. Yes, OpenServe is doing away with lower speeds (so is the competition). With 25 MB/s being the lowest speed offered from 1 March 2021. But this higher entry level speed is provided to all OpenSevre's ISPs at no additional cost to the ISP. For detail on this see the URL: https://www.businessinsider.co.za/openserve-fibre-speeds-will-soon-double-at-no-extra-cost-to-existing-clients-2021-2#:~:text=Fibre%20network%20operator%2C%20Openserve%2C%20will,and%2020Mbps%20offers%20falling%20away Mr CEO, your clients are not fools. Call it what it is, A 20 % PRICE INCREASE. AFRIHOST should be ashamed to take unfair advantage of it's client in these difficult economic times. Putting 4 times the inflationary increases on its clients, when there is no increase in the the data cost to the ISP!
I purchased earrings from Pets Jewels SA, online, on the 5 May 2020.Shortly thereafter I received a confirmation email from them of the purchase, the order number, and a contact email address for queries. As I have not heard from them at all after the initial (automated) e-mail I started inquiring regarding my purchase. I received the same response as other comments on this platform. I have serious doubts as to the legitimacy of the company, even more so as they are not bothering to respond to HelloPeter reviews as well. I will be doing everything in my power to have the charges reversed.
