If I could reverse the clock, I would. I have delivered my vehicle on the 8th Jan 2024 at Olifantsfontein GP. Yhe vehicle had to be delivered to Somerset WC over a day period. The vehicle was perfectly driving and was in a good condition. Upon delivery there were damages on the bumper which were shown to the driver and he agreed and signed on the delivery note. Secondly the clutch was faulty the gear selection was not good. I immediately reported this issue and the company director informed me that they will not accept any liability to both damages. I was appalled to have found similar review of a damaged vehicle reported previously for Open Road Carriers. Once bitten twice shy….
I was in contact with a consultant from PropInvest and I was interested on buying one of their off plan new development property. I signed the reservation request and paid the deposit. Things were going as planned, just before I could sign the OTP, I received a notification for possible retrenchment from my employer due to the COVID-19 and also a salary cut. I have informed the consultant and the service was good, completed the refund forms...many weeks later whilst following for a response: "The refund was declined because we need a letter from the bank that confirms that the application was not approved. Then only we are able to do the refund on the deposit. If the deal was cancelled for some reason the deposit is not allowed to be refunded." In order for me to get the letter it means I need to proceed with the application by completing the offer to purchase knowing that my employment is at RISK. what kind of an organization does this. I am completely DISSATISFIED with the service.
