It was clear that my package had been opened, resealed, and placed inside another Paxi bag. A large number of items were ****** from my parcel. It has now been two months, and nothing has been done, despite the fact that I reported the issue immediately and have been following up every second day. After reading other reviews, it is clear that this is not an isolated incident, as many customers report items being ****** from their packages. I regret not reading these reviews beforehand and trusting this service. I will never use or trust Paxi again.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Pep Paxi. When I received my package, five items were missing, worth approximately R1 500. It was immediately clear when I collected the parcel that it had been tampered with, and I notified Pep Paxi support right away. I phoned an agent and was advised to enquire via WhatsApp. Over the past two weeks, I have followed up four times, spending around thirty minutes each time speaking to an agent on WhatsApp and providing all the required information, including photos of the missing items and their packaging. I was assured that the matter would be handled promptly. It has now been two weeks with no feedback whatsoever. These items are urgently needed for our December holiday, which makes the lack of response even more frustrating. I also revisited the Pep The Grove branch in Pretoria, where I collected the package, in the hope of getting assistance in person. Unfortunately, the staff member who assisted me, Lorraine, was extremely rude and refused to help. Her behaviour was entirely uncalled for and left a very negative impression, suggesting a guilty conscience. I truly wish I had read other reviews before using Pep Paxi, as it seems I am not alone - many people complain that their items get lost or ******. Despite multiple follow-ups via phone, WhatsApp, and an in-person visit, no meaningful assistance has been provided. I will not be using Pep Paxi again to send or receive parcels, and I will advise and warn others against using this service.
I’ve completely lost trust in this company. They took my money, never paid the merchant (Makro), and it’s been over four weeks with no delivery and no resolution. I’ve tried contacting them multiple times and left several reviews, but I’ve had no real response or assistance. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly caution others before using this service.
It’s incredibly disappointing that I’ve reached a point where I need to resort to HelloPeter just to receive basic support from the Payflex team. Over a week ago, I placed an order on Makro’s website and opted to pay via Payflex. The payment was successfully deducted from my bank account, and I received a confirmation email from Payflex confirming the transaction. However, the Makro website showed no order was placed. I immediately contacted both Makro and Payflex. Makro confirmed that they had not received any payment or order confirmation from Payflex’s side and indicated they would reach out to Payflex. On the other hand, Payflex assured me that the payment had gone through and that my order was on its way. That, however, was simply not true. It’s now been more than a week—well past Makro’s usual 2–3 day delivery window—and still, I have received nothing. After multiple follow-ups, Makro again confirmed they still have no record of my order or payment and believe the issue lies with Payflex. To make matters worse, Payflex continues to respond with irrelevant and clearly automated replies, advising me on return and refund procedures—despite me stating multiple times that I have not received any order to return. It’s evident that my emails are either not being read properly or are simply being ignored. I’ve even requested a full refund and for the order to be cancelled, but after several emails, I’ve still received no proper assistance, no escalation, and no resolution. The items I ordered were urgently needed, and I’ve since had to go out and repurchase them in-store—completely defeating the purpose of using the online service. This experience has been nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable. I expected far better from a platform like Payflex and sincerely hope someone from your team will finally take accountability and resolve this matter urgently.
DO NOT SIGN UP WITH CURVES!!! I have been trying for MONTHS to get out of their gym contract. I have asked them several times to CANCEL my contract, have been to my bank TWICE and still they keep deducting R550 EVERY MONTH!
It is truly disheartening to see the level of unprofessionalism in Oak Tree Garden Services' response. I have never encountered a business that feels the need to block a client’s number simply because they realised they were in the wrong. After I raised my concerns about their rudeness, I was shocked to receive such an unprofessional reply. It’s clear that they have not learned from feedback, and their response only reinforces my complaint regarding their lack of professionalism. What’s even more frustrating is that, after receiving an extremely rude WhatsApp message from them, I responded with, “Sorry for the misunderstanding. Let’s see how we can fix this,” only to be blocked shortly thereafter. I’ve also observed that I’m not alone in my experience; several other reviews on Hello Peter echo similar complaints about their professionalism and people skills. It’s disappointing to see a business seemingly unwilling to improve or address these issues.
I recently hired Oak Tree Gardening Service and had the misfortune of dealing with Elmarie Nortje from Oak Tree Garden Services. Initially, she seemed pleasant and eager to help, but once I made the payment, everything changed. Her attitude became incredibly rude and dismissive. I simply asked a question about the services, and instead of a straightforward answer, I received a barrage of arrogant WhatsApp messages. When I tried to clarify further, she blocked my number! It’s astonishing how quickly someone can turn once they have your money. If you're looking for a reliable and professional gardening service, save yourself the hassle and avoid Oak Tree Gardens and Elmarie Nortje. You’ll be much better off elsewhere.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Absolutely the worst in the industry! Zero communication and suddenly you get threats of your water and electricity that will be "blocked" because of an "outstanding water account" that was settled THREE MONTHS AGO! Can someone also please show them how to write full sentences in their emails without using the space bar five times after each word????
I ordered a birthday gift to be delivered on 15 June 2020. On 17 June, the recipient notified me that she still hasn't received her gift. I called NetFlorist and was told that they were out of stock and didn't even consider to notify me. Later that day, I received a "sorry" email and was told that they will deliver the gift on 18 June. Why did I order a gift to be delivered ON A BIRTHDAY, if it only was only delivered 3 days later??? Their gifts and delivery is quite expensive and now we receive such pathetic customer service!! This was the first, and definitely last time, I am making use of NetFlorist!!!
