We are extremely disappointed with the service we received from VW in Umhlanga. On Monday, we placed an order for bearings and were assured by the salesperson that the parts would be available by Tuesday. Based on that promise, we made the trip all the way from Port Shepstone to Umhlanga on Tuesday, only to be told that the bearings were not available. This wasted our time, fuel, and effort. On Wednesday, we received a call saying the bearings had arrived. Once again, we made arrangements and traveled back to collect them on Thursday — only to be given a used bearing, despite having paid for a brand new one. When we pointed this out, the staff made excuses and tried to convince us to take it. We rightfully refused and requested a refund. Now, we are being told that we must wait up to a week or longer for our refund. This means we are out of pocket and unable to purchase the correct part elsewhere, leaving us stuck and unable to repair our vehicle. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and costly. We expect better from a brand like VW. At the very least, we demand a prompt refund and a formal apology for the inconvenience, poor communication, and unprofessional handling of this matter.
