3-years ago Grid Freedom Group (GFG) were asked to replace a ****** SMA inverter and solar panels. Once the task was completed they were paid. However, shortly thereafter the system started failing. GFG dispatched their representative, Mr Ross Muller, to attend to the problem. He came 6 times and sometimes would get the system to work for a maximum of 1 month. On other occasions he would need to refer to the manufacturers, SMA, for assistance. Currently the 35kW system is producing 5kW. Over the 3-year period that this has gone on it has resulted in a large loss of revenue to my company. Of late Mr Muller is not even returning my calls as I mentioned a month ago that it may be necessary to revert to social media to resolve this problem.
The representative of RTR Assessors, Richard Chilalika, evaluated my business premises after a burglary based on a measurement of 1200 sq m. The plans stated that they were between 1000 and 1050 sq meters. The same figure was arrived at by an independent surveyor, who at one stage was the president of the survey soc in KZN. Notwithstanding the fact that both these two pieces of info were furnished to him he persisted in his measurements and consequently the "average"policy was implemented. In addition the premiums for the ensuing year have been hiked to match Mr Chilalika's measurement.
CIA recommended this construction company to rectify damages as a result of burglary. Classique did not comply with their quotation in that they were late in delivery after demanding a 50% deposit, which was paid when the quotation was received. Upon final inspection I was intimidated to pay a further 40% notwithstanding the fact that the work was shoddy and that the door that was installed now had additional problems - it allowed light through it and it also did not meet flush with the top door. I could never recommend this company.
Very disappointed in the lack of communication. Telephone not answered. The new product was received in good working condition. Once delivery left sellers premises in Jhb it took a further 3 days to arrive at Durban. & phone calls had to made to Fastway delivery before the product arrived. If the product, a high speed, high power modem was not urgently required I may have been more acceptable to the process that followed.
How does a company with such low deliverables continue to survive?
