I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at Express Car Wash, located at Mall at Reds, on 16 March 2025 I arrived at your facility at 7:55 AM and was third in the queue for a car wash. Expecting a reasonable turnaround time, I returned to collect my vehicle at 8:50 AM, only to be informed that the cleaning process had just started. This delay was both unexpected and highly inconvenient, as I had planned my schedule based on the assumption that my vehicle would be ready within a reasonable timeframe. I find this level of service unacceptable, especially for a business that markets itself as an “express” car wash. There was no communication regarding the delay, and no effort was made to manage customer expectations. I value efficiency and professionalism when choosing a service provider, and unfortunately, my experience fell far below those standards.
Please think twice when you take out the “Vodacom insurance” from the Vodacom store Centurion mall. When claiming a phone they suddenly inflate the replacement cellphone value by thousands of rands. The same phone can be bought from other suppliers for R22500.00 but at Vodacom Centurion it cost is now R30000.00. Vodacom insured the cellphone for R25600.00 three months ago. Now they want to alter my insurance to R35000.00.
