After receiving medicine from Farrarmere for nearly 10 years Dischem changed the communication method for repeating scripts. This resulted in being referred to East Rand Mall for collection which is about 25 km from my home. Accepting it was an AI problem I went to Farrarmere and they very sarcastically said I am at Farrarmere and the meds are at Eastrand . I was advised to satnd and wait so somebidy could phone Eastrand . I did not accept that and requested the script which was handed over by another assistant. Issue is twofold. First the mistake of branch and then the absolute zero effort to rectify. I understand that my monthly R500 is no loss, it was the lack of effort to assist. I will now find a pharmacy that does try.
After starting communication it took three weeks to get an answer and then another four weeks to get a result and then another two weeks to get paid,
Last week I went to book a trailer at the above branch. The treatment I received was **********. Upon arrival the three people at the counter were on the phone which I understand. After a while the gentleman raised his eyebrows as to acknowledge my presence . I indicated that I want to book a trailer. Without a word the lady at the counter without stopping her conversation pointed to a QR Code on the counter. The man then said I must scan the QR code or go to the website. I went home and accessed the website which is user unfriendly to the extreme. After eventually managing to make a booking there was no indication as to how to pay. I eventually called the branch and they indicated I must pay when collecting the trailer. The trailer was in very good condition ( Something I was used to as I have made use of this branch before). From collecting and paying the rest went smooth, but the initial contact and using the site made this a very unpleasant experience. So much so I will not use Trailer Boys again.
Received SMS on 21 May about extension of contract. Immediately sent an E mail to cancel contract in 30 days. At end of June they claim that I must phone the Call centre and then said they will consider my request , and the thirty days only start at the end of August to be completed at the end of September. To make matters worse I paid for the contact on behalf of my grandson. They also claim I must get his permission to cancel the contact.
Took my vehicle to Dekra in Boksburg for a test after it was at the Panelbeater. Received excellent service from the reception to the explanation on completion. Although a bit pricey the reassurance of an expert is worth it.
Took an electronic device in (Home Theatre ) for possible repairs. The quote cost is R250 which I accepted. Received a SMS stating repairs were done. On arrival I was told the device is irrepairable. The job card was logged in at 15:23 and logged out at 15:24. That means the the company earns R15000.00 per hour to tell a customer there are no spares available the device is outdated. I suggest you just tell the customer it is outdated. Will not buy SAMSUNG again.
