Please stay away !!!!!!! I took out a 200GB /10 mbps contract in 2019 ,had some minors issues in the past but nothing they could sort out quickly ( that's if they finally answered your call after holding for nearly an hour ). My troubles started when we relocated: First they gave me a quote for the relocation stating that it will be free because its within raduis until they did the relocation and I got an invoice for almost the initial installation fee.....which I queried ofcourse got some bull**** answer and paid the fee. That's about the same time the name changed from Sonic Telecom to Herotel. And so did the endless problems start. Slow speeds,no connection, high site problems and unexpected "scheduled " maintenance. Recently I learned that they sent a notification in September 2020 (which I also never received)that they throttle you after 50 Gigs over a 7 day period whereby they half you speed to 5mbps and my contract is for 200 GB at 10 mbps and throttle speed 2 mbps which I could live with . I phoned the call center and the guy answering the phone could not answer me so he dropped the call. They sent me an email afterwards about Fair Usage which have nothing to do with me .I want what I'm paying for .....period !!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!
The most unreliable ISP I signed up with, always connection problems or slow speeds and when you inquire about the network problem then its always issues with the high site or maintenance , that is when you get through per telephone because your waiting time to speak to an consultants can be anything from 1minute to 20 minutes. The WhatsApp number they gave for queries or networks problems is also useless because you send your problem and get an automated reply that a consultant will be in touch as soon as they're available but you're lucky if they do send an whatsapp message a day or 2 later.
