Ordered KFC from the uber eats app totalling R371. Delivery guy eventually arrives. I give him my pin and he hands the food to me. When i took the food i could feel it wasnt right as the amount of food was less than i ordered. He then told me he gave my food to the previous client and took the food i had back. He then said he will come back but never returned. I laid a complaint on your website but use are of no help. I even mentioned i have camera footage of the driver taking the food back. I just get told there is nothing use can do. PATHETIC service.
Friendly and efficient service. Whole procedure was smooth no hiccups. Agent was friendly and extremely helpful. Got exactly what we wanted.
Absolutely disgusting work from sanlam. Sanlam was appointed as the executor on my mother's estate in 2021. We soon realized that there was no bond cover on her house and I was forced to sell. I eventually got a buyer in October 2023 and the buyer signed the Offer to purchase. Sanlam then notified me in January that they would be requesting a discount on the bond as it has built up interest over the years. Lack of communication from Sanlam. Constantly calling and emailing with no response led me to send them an email removing them as executors of the estate. A few days after this email I was sent a letter stating that they are handing over the file to a different company and that there was a summons put onto the house. So sanlam never notified the bank that we had a buyer on the house. When the bank decided to pull back the file and take legal action sanlam just stood back and handed the file off. So who is going to be held responsible if the bank auctions off that house for peanuts? Not me? Not the agent? We did our part. Sanlam was negligent and I will not leave it here. They charge obsurb amounts of money on my mom's estate. Where do you pay R83000 for a Die Burger ad. How do you calculate that a R200 000 plot have transfer costs of R27 000. It's absolutely ridiculous and plain daylight *******.
3 years ago both my parents passed on two weeks apart due to covid. I am the only child and was left with a huge amount of debt. 5 months prior to my mom's passing she took out a second bond on the house for renovations. A few months after she has passed I was notified by Sanlam who are the executors that there was no cover on any of my moms bonds on the house. From my knowledge I know that cover is voluntary. But does the bank not do risk profiling before handing out large sums of money? She and my dad were divorced. She was a single parents over the age of 50 in the heart of covid and use gave her no cover. 5 months down line she passes on now use want full repayment back. That is daylight *******. How do you give someone a bond with no cover and no guarantee that if something happens use can get your money back? Municipal valuation was at 830k but on the second bond her repayment was about 1.3m? How did use calculate risk if something was to happen to her? In the end I was forced to sell the property which was my childhood home because of negligence and I will be taking this further as I feel I was done wrong in the situation. Another bad experience with standard bank was when I went into the bank to notify them of my mom's passing. I was assured that all her accounts would be blocked immediately. The following month came and I saw her work paid her last salary in. After that a bunch of payments went off. I then went back to the bank to ask what happened and the consultant never blocked the account an allowed the payments to go through. They assured me that they would rectify the mistake. This happened in 2021. We are almost headed into 2025 at this point. So please do respond swiftly as I want this matter to be resolved very quickly.
Completely unacceptable behavior from your staff at the varsity cup match in Stellenbosch. The match was between Maties and NWU. Having security work under the influence is unacceptable. This person had the worst attitude and could barely keep himself up. Unacceptable from such an established company working such a big event. A family member was disabled and we asked for entrance at a specific entrance which would suit him to enter. They refused and told us to walk all the way around. The guy started giving attitude and his colleagues even agreed that he has been drinking. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I will be mentioning this to the university as well.
Thank you Carla for the wonderful service, it was professional, efficient and clearly done with passion. Great experience.
