I write this email at 2am with utmost disgust and disappointment. I am currently checked-in at unit 131 Savannah Park. It is the second consecutive night that we are disturbed by unit 130 guests/residents. The doors are being slammed, music is ridiculously loud, glasses are being broken in the stairway (see picture attached), Almost animal-like, and uncouth behaviour one would experience in a Shebeen!!! What makes me even more frustrated is the lack of control and security offered by Savannah Park. 1. I’ve reported this to security who could barely understand English. 2. I’ve then left my unit, drove to the security guard-house to escalate the issue and the manager (Mr Khumalo, I believe), advised that there’s nothing can be done as they’ve contacted the armed response team and insisted that we wait for them. 3. I then contacted the security company directly (Marshall Security), and they referred me to contact Metro Police. I have a few questions that I need answers to before I escalate this further: 1. Why is there no emergency contact number provided to guests? 2. Why is the security team not equipped to handle public disturbances? 3. Why is the affiliated armed response team not effective? 4. Why was there no corrective measures implemented and proper protocol followed? I am highly frustrated by the lack of control, security measures and the weekend-away that my partner and I have planned for (being in a long-distance relationship, our time and peace are MOST important to us). Although I understand that Savannah Park cannot control the behaviour of certain guests, I DON’T understand how this happens in TWO consecutive nights without anything being done (one would assume that corrective measures and protocol be followed in such instances). TERRIBLY DISGUSTED AND SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED !!! I will be following-up on this, and will be taking the matter further. Still so much of noise, people are drunk, breaking bottles, security is still not doing anything, armed response is still not here, and no sign of Metro Police. As I type this email, I get off the phone with Aneesha and although I understand her frustration, I do not appreciate the tone of the call and lack of sympathy after being a subject of public disturbance. The following RULES, AS PER ATTACHED, have been INFRINGED!!! #2 (No Visitors Allowed) #3 (No Parties Allowed) #4 (Excessive Noise levels at 2am …almost 3am) As per attached. After receiving terrible customer service, I still bought a headboard. With the only one colour available it didn't match my room so I returned it with a day or two. It's been 21 days now and nobody updated me on my refund. Why is Coricraft getting so bad. Why are they keeping my funds and accruing interest on my funds for the past two weeks. Should I report this... The fact that they are not adhering their 5 day return policy?. @Coricraft
