My daughter app**** for an apartment on Rentuncle, she enquired and an application form was sent which she completed and provided all the documents, she received a letter of approval and needed to pay a deposit and admin fees of R9000 before viewing the property. Luckily we saw this as a red flag that payment must be made upfront and did not pay. We did a search for Gilbert Travis with Rawsom Properties and this person does not exist, he isn't even registered under the PPRA, we even tried Travis Gilbert. This is sad preying on people in these times when life is expensive and people think nothing of ****ming you. Please do not use sites like this, rather go to legit property sites or property agents. Verify the information, any payments upfront rather check before losing your hard earned money.
We purchased a side by side fridge freezer by recommendation in Dec 2018. Since then we have had multiple issues with it. For a while the fridge sounded like we had a truck parked in our kitchen. I have made 10 calls since February and yes we rceive the sms updates, but nothig happens thereafter. A technician came out in May 2020 and was supposed to order a part, but it was lockodwn and an ETA could not be given. Since then the fridge continued to sound like a truck and then suddenly went silent the 13 July. This resulted in all my veggies in the draws of the fridge was frozen and all the items at the top of the fridge was warm and went off, losing everything in the fridge. The top half of the freezer everything was defrosted and the bottom half was still frozen in the draw section only. Every agent I speak to cannot give an ETA and the technician is going to contact us. Each time we are told that the part is being ordered, part has been received, fridge will be repaired the next day. A day after the due date, we call again and get told again, part needs to be ordered, once the part is received, a technician will be sent out to fix. We are now starting to feel as though we are not important and each time the part was ordered it was given to another customer as this has now happened 3 times to us. And it's August, we were told that the technician would come out, NO ONE has contacted us since Tuesday 28th July so it feels as though we are just being pushed to the back of the queue. Bosch should relook their service offering as this is the worst we have ever experienced. The fridge should be replaced with a new one or our money refunded so that we can purchase another fridge from another brand that actually cares about after sale service. Today is 3 August and we have still not received any update or call from a technician.
