I had an policy with DOTsure which I cancelled 29.06.2024. As part of the policy when I commenced this insurance was that I was obligated to install a smart tracking box. They did tell me that should I cancel within the first 3 years after the installation I would be liable for the installation costs. This unit has been in my vehicle for more than 3 years. When cancelling my policy in June there was no correspondence or word about the tracker. I have been debited directly by Netstar for the past 3 months. Upon phoning them I was told that I had to cancel directly through them even though I never directly engaged an contract with them and also had to give them a calendar month notice. Does Dotsure not go against POPI act for sharing my banking details with Netstar? Are they not obligated to cancel the tracker if it was initiated by them?
Also known as Calendra/Calendra new - placed an order December 2022 - made many promises on facebook but never received my order. She had long soppy stories and blamed the courier. When she reopened as Calendra she promised to send out all the outstanding orders but that too never happened.
I have been a regular user of Checkers sixty 60 over the past year. it is very sad that they have now stopped delivering in our area (Richards Bay). We are now forced to use Pnp asap instead. I did phone a week ago and they said it was because of taxi unrest, however the drivers has said on fb that they are ready and able to return to work and that they are awaiting there bosses to give them the go ahead. Checker sixty60 Richards Bay, please reconsider reinstating the deliveries as it is much easier than visiting the mall. I have been buying from the Pnp asap app in the mean time.
