Booked a 3 bedroom unit at Sun vacation Club Sun City from 19-21 March 2021. We often go to Sun City and always stay at the Sun vacation Club. Also bought 4 timeshares at SVC. We are used to excellent service and value for money when staying at the Sun City but this last experience was the worst ever. Upon arrival we were informed that the unit they reserved for us was no longer available. Spoke to Christine early morning on the 19th and she reserved a unit for us. The manager allocated another unit to us. The unit was dirty and the cleaners left all the windows open. The unit was full of insects (grasshoppers, spiders and ants). had to call room service to bring us a wine bottle opener as there was none in the unit. We were not provided with an inventory list to actually take stock of everything in the unit. We had two allocated parking spaces but someone else parked on it for the duration of our stay. Security did nothing about it but clamped the wheels of the cars on the 2nd last day of our stay. Did not provide us with any feedback as to if the people were fined or anything and told me it was information they can't share. Our unit was run down. paint falling of the walls, etc. Could not use the bath in the main bathroom as the plug was not sealing. I asked the to repair the shower door of the bottom bathroom and they never did it. The pantry was also a huge disappointment. Wanted to buy meat and margarien the first night but they did not have any. In fact they did not receive any new stock of meat for the duration of the weekend. No potatoes, no lettuce. The pantry used to have a variety of stock but this place is going down. Our safe did not work in the unit. We asked for a remote for the DVD player as there was no remote for it in the unit. Housekeeping brought one two hours later. Could not get it to work until we realised there were no batteries in the remote they gave to us. There are many more things hat were wrong in the unit but I am not going to mention it all. I did complete a survey as requested that someone from management contact me. It's 8 days later and no one contacted me. totally unacceptable and we are now considering to take legal action to cancel all 4 of our timeshares at Sun Vacation Club. Sorry to say but the place is going down. Thy even discontinued the luxury buses and one has to take a bus trip to the valley of waves in buses older than the mountains. Also not sure why members and loyal supporters and people who pay their annual levies are not allowed to use the gate to the nature reserve. Only safari vehicles are allowed and you have to drive out of Sun city and go trough a location if you opt to use your private vehicle for a game drive. this does not make any sense. We like to use our private vehicle as it is at least 10 times cheaper. Thanks.
Rented a Mercedes Benz C200 Avantgarde by Avis Menlyn on 17/01/2019. Still waiting for my invoice. Contacted Avis customer care. They replied two days later and said the invoice is outstanding due to damages on the left tyre rim. The vehicle was just used to drive to the airport and it was inspected when I returned it. Was not in any kind of accident or anything. This is the second time this has happened with me. The prvious time was approximately two years ago with a similar vehicle. Avis at that time just deducted money from my credit card for damages and it took me two weeks to get my money back. They finally realised it was a mistake on their side and reimbursed me. Tried to phone them for 5 hours today. no one was able to help me and they don't respond to emails. Absolute pathetic service from them. Already waisted more than R 300-00 on calls today as I am phoning from abroad to resolve this issue. Very disappointed in Avis. Second time this is happening and it is not acceptable. Can someone who is capable to handle the query please assist. The staff at OR Thambo are not capable to perform this task and they never answer the phones. Please help
Bought a Jurgens trailer LT 675 November 2016 at Lynnwood Trailers & Campworld in Pretoria. Paid R 24 600-00 with all the extras. Noticed the one sticker on the left of the nose was lighter in colour than the sticker on the right side. Did report this to the sales person (Henk) and he promised to replace both stickers for us in January 2017. I went to the dealership 6 times since January 2017 and still no word from Henk. Left both me and my wife's contact details with him and he never phoned any of us back. It is now more than a year later and we are still waiting for Henk. He promised to phone us back every time and we are still waiting.....??? Can someone at Jurgens please assist with this. I can't find any contact details for Jurgens CI customer complaints on the internet. Very poor service from this sales person and someone need to take action against him. Will appreciate any feedback. Thanks
<p>We rented a holiday home in Zimbali through Ocean2Ocean Accommodation for an amount of R 73995-00 for 10 nights. Upon arrival we found that the house was falling apart. Extremely dirty and many defects. Did report this to the agent (KIM) and they only arranged for the garage door to be repaired. We decided to leave after 3 days. The agent NEVER answered any of our calls. Just sent messages all the time stating she was busy! We decided to take legal action against the landlord and she refused to provide us any contact details. Please do not make the same mistake if you are planning to book any holiday in Ballito area rather work with agents that are professional. This agents did not even see the house personally but they rented it out. Worst of all is that KIm rented the house out to someone else after we left and she was well informed of all the issues with the house. How can anyone rip people off like that. I think that was very low of them to rent the house out to someone else. We also had to beg them to refund the breakage deposit of R 4000-00. I had to sent my banking details 3 times to KIM...??? The breakage deposit was paid back to us more than 3 weeks late. Spare yourself the drama and rather book your holiday through someone that is professional and someone that can provide a service and look after their clients. We wil NEVER use this unprofessional people again. Will report them in the local newspapers as well to ensure other people don't experience the same. What a disaster it was!!!!!!! <p>We rented a 4 seater golf cart from 27 Dec 2017 to 6 January 2017 at a cost of R 4 617-00. We had a crisis and had to leave the holiday house after 3 days and contacted the company to return the golf cart. They (gary Harris) refused to reimburse us for the 7 days. Please be aware if you consider to do any businees with this company. Our golf cart was way outdated and very old. Could hardly drive the cart and it was very slow. It was actually an embarresment to use the golf cart in Zimbali. This company do not have a refund policy and just want to take your money and run. rather try any of the many other golf cart rental companies for better prices and service</p>
<p>Went to Pick n Pay on 02/10/2016 and 05/10/2016. Had a shopping list of 20 general items. Was shocked to only find 5 items I was looking for. They were out of stock were general items like Sunlight dishwashing liqued (750 ml green), Dettol soap (original), Mcain frozen sweetcorn (250g small pack), German Franks (Enterprise), All Gold Mustard, SPUR Grill basting sauce, Lays plain salted chips (small packs), Fruit & Chutney Cheese Naks (small packs). Also very frustrating to see that they only had three cashiers on both days. There were long queues and many people including me decided to just left out trolleys and baskets and left the shop without buying anything. Went then to Checkers Hyper, found all the items I was looking for and no long queues at the cashiers. Not sure why they only have 3 cashiers especially during lunch time hour when there are so many contractors buying prepared food??? This is not the first time this happened at this Pick n Pay. There are always items we can't find when go there. Does not look like management are doing anything to address the problem. Will definitely never support them again and also encourage family and friends to rather go somewhere else to avoid disapointment. Not sure why the service is so poor at the store but do believe that this will reflect on their income statements sooner than later as many people are fed up with their poor service. Spare yourself the effort and rather buy elsewhere.</p>
