Last night we went out for dinner and visited 2 restaurants in The Point area of Mossel Bay and ended up at the Minnesota Spur because the other places were full. To my surprise this Spur were quite EMPTY. Now this is only my second visit to this Spur because of ****ty service the previous time. We ordered our drinks and food at 18h35 and waited almost 45 minutes for the food. The manager came to the table once after we tried to get somebody's attention. He came back and said the food will be ready in 5 minutes. Only after about 12 minutes did our food arrive..........ice cold!!! Now I had a visitor from overseas with us and he just smiled and shook his head. We send the steaks back and it came back with an improvement to about room temperature!! My wife ordered the Senior Lunch Special without the desert, priced at R89.90. She was charged on the bill for R109.90 Her food (steak and veggies) was also cold. My guess is that our order was either ignored or forgotten seeing that it was **** cold when it got to our table. Like I said, the place was empty. Now please don't blame your *** service on loadshedding, Covit or the price of petrol, but this was the last time I will ever visit a Spur Restaurant. Besides this poor service from Minnesota Spur, is the fact that your prices are not affordable for what you get in return. I believe we are not the only ones that are complaining about your services. R.I.P. MINNESOTA SPUR
Very annoyed with this poor service from this company. I phoned on 22 October to cancel my contract of R184 p/m. I decided I want to go prepaid. This fella who helped me really messed this up. He said i could get a 100 minutes for R50 to which I agreed. The contract wasn't cancelled and now Vodacom wants me to pay R184 plus R50. I already had prepaid airtime on my phone plus excess minutes from the previous month. On 22 November ALL my airtime disappeared from my phone. The 100 Minutes this guy sold me, were also gone. Twice I went to a Vodacom shop and the could not help me. I sent e-mails to Vodacom explaining the whole story. Now they want R358 I don't know what for. I cancelled my contract in time not to get billed again but the mess that guy made is eve too much for Vodacom to handle. My case is now escalated and I now have to wait 7 working days for an answer. Meantime their billing department keeps on sending me sms's for the outstanding amount. I am so tired of such poor service in this country.
What a scam!!. Almost caught in their trap but a few things made me aware that something is not kosher. The African guy who answered the phone refused to let a friend of mine, to have a look at the golf cart i was about to buy. He said their warehouse is not open. Fact is.....they don't have a warehouse at 106 Voortrekker street in Springbok. I phone the Springbok Police Station and the have no knowledge of such business at that address. Their e-mail look very authentic but the banking details also raised a red light. Is there anyway that these scam adverts can be removed? I really hope so, that "future buyers" cannot fall in this trap.
