I recently decided to test the Games Price Match option, and it has been a pain. At first, they state it takes 24 to 48 hours as the Finance department must review the request. Then, after numerous calls and emails, they informed me that it was assigned to a representative only on the 3rd day after the request was made. Then, after another call, they told me it can take up to 6 days (24 to 48 Work hours). I have tried this with other retailers before and had an answer within a couple of hours. Sitting on day 4 with no info, feels like they are playing for time so that the matched price expires or the product goes out of stock so they can deny the request.
Watch out for this company. We ordered a pool cover in January and were told it would take 2 to 3 weeks. We are already in May, and they have now stopped responding to emails and messages, having made excuse after excuse when they were still responding. I requested a refund as I cannot wait any longer, but after that, they simply started ignoring all forms of communication. I have sent them one last email and message, and will be opening a case of ***** against everyone involved in the transaction. I will also be laying complaints with the Consumer Protection Act and the NSPI, which has them listed as an accredited company. Please stay clear and avoid losing your money.
I got notified that the company made a mistake with the promo that I signed up for and now have to pay for the two months they messed up with. After querying this I have been moved from department to department, with no clear answer when I provide them with my findings based on my debit orders and the statements received vs what I should've paid. I told them that if the promo was wrongly app**** I am more than happy to pay the extra month's fee. But not 2 months as they are saying. My service was nr 1 wrongly activated in November for which I believe I got a credit. Which now even further confuses the hell out of everyone. I just want to have this issue resolved and move on with my life. But it seems like no one really knows what is going on with the accounts to help me resolve the issue.
I was helped by Mothusi Lusu from Dotsure and after spending a lot of time speaking to other companies looking for a Motor Warranty he was the best representative I've spoken to in a long time. He was understanding when I couldn't speak. By far the best service I've received during my search.
