We recently moved into our property the 1st February 2022. The agent promised us that once we move in the yard and rubble will be removed. Upon moving there was absolutely nothing done regarding the cleaning. There is dog litter which created maggots everywhere. The rubble is still there which previous owner did not even remove. The property agent got his sale now responds to no emails. Only advises us to contact the attorney?
Two months ago my Geyser had been replaced in which an amount of R800 was requested. The plumbers came out and fixed it. On the 3 August 2020 I saw water coming from my cupboard and this was a result of a burst pipe leading to the geyser in the wall of my property. This affected the carpet in my bedroom as well as my clothing cupboard. I contacted ABSA insurance in which I was told to pay R800 access for a plumber and another R800 for the contractors. Plumbers came out and fixed the leak. Accessor came out and explained what needs to be replaced etc. Only to receive a call from ABSA insurance to advise me that they going to pay out an amount and we should fix it ourselves as this was an underlying problem. Firstly this was not an underlying problem, else the plumbers would have noticed it when the Geyser was replaced two months ago. Secondly the amount that ABSA is requesting to payout would not even be able to cover the damage. I rejected the offer and to date no response received. Each month they gladly accept your premiums but when it comes to services rendered their service is pathetic. Regards
