Truly frustrating experience!! 😡😡 I took my brand new vehicle to NMI Ford N1 City to look at a rattle in the cabin. It has been two weeks now and I still do not have my vehicle back. There has been a back and forth with Ford NMI N1 City and Ford Head Office where they are working with a technician to resolve the issue. Then the headliner is removed and then the headliner is being out back, they have even sent a “special tool” to fix the problem, but I still don’t have a vehicle. The issue is not that it is taking so long, by all means take as long as you need to get this issue fixed, but the fact that I am sitting without a vehicle and I need my vehicle for work is the issue. NMI ford has advised that they can offer me a courtesy vehicle, but for some bizarre reason I have to take out the insurance on the vehicle? Not sure how they want me to achieve this seeing as how no insurance company is going to give me cover for a couple of days and take on the risk of having a R500 0000+ loss should something happen. I mean, what kind of a premium do they then have to charge for this cover? The matter has been escalated to Ford Client care and they have been absolute no help at all. Also just “yes, we are trying to fix it” but the same response with regards to providing me with a courtesy vehicle. I just spoke to the service manager at NMI Ford and just gives me the same excuse. Is this the type of service one can expect when purchasing a brand new vehicle at Ford??
Received wonderful service from Wynand Botes at Gys Pitzer motors in Silverlakes. He was well informed and gave great service and advice. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a vehicle.
****Massive Scam**** I get a call out of the blue from Elite Mobile with my contact details, ID number and all my personal information telling me that I have qualified for a mecer laptop and data package for only R300 a month and I am interested, because this does not sound like too bad a deal. I go through the whole lengthy process with this person on the phone and afterward he tells me the deal is through and I can expect a call from a courier to deliver the laptop. A week has gone by and Elie Mobile debits my account and I still don't have the laptop so I decide to call them and here lies their scheme. "sorry sir, you did not qualify for a laptop only the value added service" So why would I want to pay for just the value added service and why did no one tell me that the laptop is not coming? Please cancel this service and pay me back my money. Just to be informed that they will not pay me back my money. I wonder how many other people they have scammed like this? Lessons learned....do NOT trust shady call centre people. Thanks Elite Mobile it is companies like you that make us not trust anyone and makes life harder for the people that are just trying to make an honest living.
