On the 8th of April 2026 I bought a car from MFC Auction house in Kempton Park this a division of Nedbank for R58,732.50. The prior DEKRA report provided by MFC did not show any issues on the chassis. However, when I took it for my own DEKRA roadworthy test, it failed due to a severe undisclosed chassis fault. On 22 April 2026, I returned the car to MFC. Their team inspected it, acknowledged the fault, and took the car back. Since then, MFC has held both my money and the vehicle for nearly a month. The case handler completely ignores my emails. I spoke to an internal staff member who informed me that management has officially declined my request to swap the car for another one of similar value. Yet, they are still r not refunding my money or reimburse me for the R5,230.50 I spent on new tyres and licensing before discovering the defect. MFC is ********ly holding R63,963.00 of my money, leaving me stranded with no car and no communication. I need Nedbank Management to intervene immediately.
On the 21st of October 2019 I was called by a consultant by the name of Gugu from Mobile talk offering me a phone contract for Huawei Y7 pro 2019 which she said it will come with a sim topped up with 1gb data both will cost R269 a month for 24 I took the contract and later on the 23 of October 2019 I recieved a call again from a guy from mobile talk telling me that the contact that I took has been amended I will pay R150 for the whole package not R269 as stated by Gugu two days ago. The phone was delivered to me on the 7th of November and they started debiting beginning of January thousand and something I can't recall the exact amount I was surprised I thought may the amount includes admission fee, I then call telkom because they are the ones debiting in my account I was told that the deal includes two sim card with data which I was not told about, they advised me to contact mobile talk for further clarity which I did they promised to do internal investigation and came back to me. When they called me back they accepted that the consultant misleded me therefore I have two options 1. I keep the phone and pay R577 or 2.I return the phone to them they won't charge me because the fault is in their side, they will refund me all the admin cost and also cancel the contract with telkom on my behalf, I opted to return it back to them. They sent a courier end of January 2020 after 2 week I called mobile talk to check if they have received it; they confirmed they have received it and also mentioned that the phone passed assessment meaning it came back with no fault but they kept on debiting until today they are debiting I tried everything to prove to telkom that the phone was returned long time ago, I'm being debated different amounts on different dates, I called both companies several times but they just can't help. Hello Peter please assist I have all the communication records and case numbers. Your assistance will be highly appreciated Thank you
