Customer service nowadays is rare to find. Find it I did with Kevin from Cerebos Foods. The story… I could no longer find the Bisto,” SOOO! Gravy” (my favourite gravy powder) at Pick ‘n Pay Hyper. I wrote to P&P as well as Cerebos. I had instant replies from both. I eventually discovered that P&P had de-listed this product. However, Kevin immediately called me to say that SPAR had taken it on board and it should be in their stores within a week or so. “Where is your nearest SPAR store” he asked. It happened to be in Kensington Square, Durban North. This is where it gets interesting. Kevin called me 2/3 times weekly informing me on the progress of getting the product into the store. OK, it was a “new” product for SPAR (I assume), but it was “SOOO! Impressed” (hehe) that Kevin was in contact all the way. Today I went to Kensington Square where the Manager had set aside 4 tubs of SOOO! Gravy for me. Is that service – or what? Thank you all - Kevin, his representatives, SPAR manager. You all deserve a huge bonus. Hope you get it!

This morning I returned them to the store.</p> <p>Unbelievable courtesy and efficiency from the two guys. I was speedily asked to select another shoe which I did, following advice from Thershan.</p> <p>Such service is rare today. Well done.
