Shocking reaction from Cerebos salt
I have sent numerous emails to Cerebos (info@cerebos.co.za) requesting the "material safety data sheet" on the "anti-caking agent" ingredient in Cerebos salt. Each email was not replied to.

Stay clear of Cerebos products
I bought a 175g salt and pepper set in the Wilderness on about 10 Nov 2020. The pepper had absolutely ZERO taste. When I got home later in Nov I wrote to info@cerebos.co.za complaining about the product. Now 3 weeks later I have not received a reply. I get annoyed when ripped off by a company but REALY annoyed when you complain and dont received a reply. They deserve NO STARS FOR the product and NO STARS for handling the complaint

Stay clear of Cerebos products
I bought a 175g salt and pepper set in the Wilderness on about 10 Nov 2020. The pepper had absolutely ZERO taste. When I got home later in Nov I wrote to info@cerebos.co.za complaining about the product. Now 3 weeks later I have not received a reply. I get annoyed when ripped off by a company but REALY annoyed when you complain and dont received a reply. They deserve NO STARS FOR the product and NO STARS for handling the complaint

Cerebos honestly does not care enough about the people that buy their products
On 16 June I decided to send the below email to Cerebos informing them of their product that injured me and also including photos of both instances. This www.hellopeter.com write-up is simply to note that Cerebos cared less than nothing because to date they have not even acknowledged my email, which was the only thing I really wanted back then. Email to them: Cerebos, Thank you for bringing out the 250g Cerebos LITE as it really makes a difference in the life of people that need to take in lower sodium for medical reasons. Having a larger unit ensures enough salt to use for the whole family at a more affordable price. Also, please take note of the attached photo which is of my left thumb and right thumb. Both photos were taken today 16/06/2020. I only include the left thumb photo to show the scar from healing the last +- 2 weeks. The bloodied photo however is taken of the right thumb today after the injury has taken place. This injury was caused, in both instances, by the cap of the main lid of the 250 gram Cerebos LITE. The cap is manufactured to be tight for obvious reasons. But with it being this tight one has to position one's thumb nail under the cap of the main lid in order to get it lifted. With the pressure to lift it the cap jolts loose of which this action causes the thumb to sc**** fast over the sharp side of the main red lid of the bottle. I felt it is important to give this consumer feedback to you as it will happen to other consumers as it is impossible to prevent unless you leave the salt open (with the lid permanently off).

Customer service nowadays is rare to find. Find it I did with Kevin from Cerebos Foods. The story… I could no longer find the Bisto,” SOOO! Gravy” (my favourite gravy powder) at Pick ‘n Pay Hyper. I wrote to P&P as well as Cerebos. I had instant replies from both. I eventually discovered that P&P had de-listed this product. However, Kevin immediately called me to say that SPAR had taken it on board and it should be in their stores within a week or so. “Where is your nearest SPAR store” he asked. It happened to be in Kensington Square, Durban North. This is where it gets interesting. Kevin called me 2/3 times weekly informing me on the progress of getting the product into the store. OK, it was a “new” product for SPAR (I assume), but it was “SOOO! Impressed” (hehe) that Kevin was in contact all the way. Today I went to Kensington Square where the Manager had set aside 4 tubs of SOOO! Gravy for me. Is that service – or what? Thank you all - Kevin, his representatives, SPAR manager. You all deserve a huge bonus. Hope you get it!
