I bought a used vehicle there late last year. The vehicle had issues and I reported those issues to them a few weeks after I got the vehicle (less than a month later). When they couldn't fix the issue and their technician said they must replace the part, the sales person escalated the issue to the sales manager. It has been over 12 months of me calling and emailing the sales manager, and he never picks up or return the calls, he also doesn't respond to my emails. I was also assured that the vehicle was never involved in an accident (when I bought it) and that turned out to be untrue as almost the whole body has been repaired before, according to some panel beaters.
On 20 May 2020, I lodged a claim with Finrite. They approved the claim and I requested that they outsource the replacement laptop for me since Edcon stores do not sell them anymore. They have been telling me that their supplier does not have laptops on stock. I have been calling them and asking that other alternatives (like using a different supplier who has stock or purchasing the laptop from another stock, including other stores they work with) be employed since it has been too long. They have been telling me that is not how they work, and they also failed to provide a way forward. I went as far as calling their preferred supplier, who made it clear that they don't even know if it will be months or years until they have stock. I honestly do not know if Finrite expects me to wait for eternity for this. The claim has been outstanding for over 3 months now, with every delay being caused by them. I have even emailed their complaints department and recieved no response.
