Here we are again. Complaining about the same old problem. What a great joy it was when Opticom kept their promise and delivered the service that we payed for each month. But as my mom would say. If something is too good to be true it usually is. It has been more than a year that we haven't experienced any problems with our line. But since the Start of 2023 bad habits have crept back into OPTICOM (Previous know as SADV) Our line is strong.... But, just like last time, our line is dipping Riaan Griesel and his team was after all our drama very professional towards us. But all good things come to an end. We have noticed on a few occasions that our problems are worse in school holidays and over weekends. So this weekend it reached a new height. When I reported this to OPTICOM I was once again treated like an idiot. And plainly ignored. I was taken to task over my complaint that my line is dipping so much that as a.family we can't do anything. The response I received was highly unprofessional and aggressive. At the end of the day the customer (me) pays my monthly bill... You (OPTICOM) promised a service. If there is a problem is it not on you to sort this out???? Without attacking your customer. Riaan Griesel your people need training in proper work etiquette. And if it was YOU that answered me. Well, then you learned nothing from our last interaction
I have been on here before and spewed negativity over SADV. Especially towards Riaan and his team. But today I have to give credit to these guys. Riaan and Charles could have ignored our problem. After all it is late Friday afternoon. But they come through. They assisted us and got us back on the air. Both Riaan and Charles were super professional, friendly and accommodating. Their attitude even though it was out of their way and past 4 in the afternoon on a Friday was above and beyond. You guys deserve the praise. Thank you once again for assisting us so quickly and with so much grace.
I wrote a post a few months back about SADV Nelspruit. They did respond I have to give them that. But what Riaan Grisel and his receptionist Rochelle did today is unexpectable. Funny enough they proved how unprofessional and rude SADV Nelspruit is. We have had difficulties with our line for almost a week, we have been struggling to get hold of Nelspruit for a week. When we got hold of Riaan Grisel he shouted at my 70 year old mom.. When she told him in a very calm voice that he is rude... He put the phone down in her ear. Could you please tell me how this is professional??? How are we suppose to deal with a jerk like that???? SADV Nelspruit has a problem....
I am fed up with SADV and their lack of service. In my life I have never experienced such bad or rather unprofessional service from their technicians. Come Friday 17hoo our signal starts dipping. Call centre told us White River technicians does not work over weekends. Miraculously the signal appears on Monday morning. During the week we also have no signal after 17h00.We can register as many tickets as we want but nobody will get back to us. This entire weekend we are without wi fi. Please tell me what I must do.
