By far the best service and internet to have when you live in a rural area. Rian and Charles helped get me sorted, and they did a wonderful professional job! Thank you so much! Been using Opticom ISP for over two years now, and can honestly say I am super happy with them. I work from home and need uninterrupted, secure and reliable internet, and this is definitely the way to go. Thank you guys!! ππΌπ€©

Signed up with Afrihost from the 28th of June. Ecer since my Netflix never worked on my tv and phone through Fibre, but works on mobile data. Everytime I call the call centre, you have to explain your story to different agents. They provided a tp link router, which goes down every single day For 2 weeks straight. I had to sit on a call with their support team for atleast an hour minimum a day. Every agent that comes on, asks me to reset the router. It works for a while then goes back to normal(which is connected without internet) They failed to diagnose the fault. Will never recommend this type of service to anyone. It's 2 weeks and my first time with them and I want to cancel. I emailed them multiple times on how to cancel, and the common answer is , go on our "client zone portal " Stay away from this ******* service!!!!! I have pictures and recordings of all the conversations. I asked an agent to take a look at my router and see how many times a day it goes offline, and the agent said " WE CANNOT MONITOR THIS" Which is a lie π. Stay away from them. They say pure internet joy. But it's your worst nightmare, especially if you work from home!!!

Such bad experience learned from active account holders. Every time the weather only reports bad stormy weather, their services is gone for3 days and longer. no telephone, no Wi-Fi, nothing. this is very very bad. they should have by now do something to it so that it won't repeat so much.

Since I started using SADV/Opticom I have not missed one payment, end of April I had some unforseen expenses and could only pay R 500 leaving me with R95 that I owed them. And for R 95 rand my line has been cutt service suspended. There internet is more off than on but I pay for it and now the 1st time I have a problem they suspended my service DO NOT USE THEM there is far better service providers out there

Here we are again. Complaining about the same old problem. What a great joy it was when Opticom kept their promise and delivered the service that we payed for each month. But as my mom would say. If something is too good to be true it usually is. It has been more than a year that we haven't experienced any problems with our line. But since the Start of 2023 bad habits have crept back into OPTICOM (Previous know as SADV) Our line is strong.... But, just like last time, our line is dipping Riaan Griesel and his team was after all our drama very professional towards us. But all good things come to an end. We have noticed on a few occasions that our problems are worse in school holidays and over weekends. So this weekend it reached a new height. When I reported this to OPTICOM I was once again treated like an idiot. And plainly ignored. I was taken to task over my complaint that my line is dipping so much that as a.family we can't do anything. The response I received was highly unprofessional and aggressive. At the end of the day the customer (me) pays my monthly bill... You (OPTICOM) promised a service. If there is a problem is it not on you to sort this out???? Without attacking your customer. Riaan Griesel your people need training in proper work etiquette. And if it was YOU that answered me. Well, then you learned nothing from our last interaction
