These guys sell a variety of items mail order only, are based in Pietermaritzburg. Product is reasonable and I find the shoes comfortable however trying to actually get them is such a mission. The delivery, which they indicate as 3-5 days with Fastway, is more like 3-5 weeks with a lot of complaint emails before they actually do something about it! Lady called Jane answers their info email if at all, usually with a 'I'll check and get back to you...' then nothing for days and days until you send numerous complaint and query emails!!!. so just know - product is good but their service delivery is almost non existent.
My experience was similar to other reviews here. These guys are full of promises until they have your money! Then it's excuse after excuse and ignoring of your calls. I received an 8 year old address and a 2 year old address, once I pointed out that both the addresses were available with a simple google search they went quiet and ignored my calls. Requests for refund or for them to live up to their commitments go unanswered. STAY AWAY!!!
I see there is a common thread here. Salesperson Bruce Morrison ****med me for over R190 000.00 and has every story under the sun as to why he hasn't returned my money after non delivery at his previous company, Brokka Industries. He closed the company and is now at Total Fencing Solutions, he has at least two theft charges against him and is operating with the backing of Total Fencing Solutions, promising the world and delivering nothing. I have all correspondence and paperwork proving this.
So Johannesburg Water joins the list of totally defunct government organisations in my books, the next in line after Eskom, SAA, SABC, PRASA...... on 1st July 2022 a burst water main collapsed my boundary wall onto my carports, crushing 3 trailers, 2 bikes and a car. Joburg water representative, Alpheus Mkhize was sent to inspect and has now supposedly submitted two reports internally so that Nkadibeng Matlabe and Nontuthuko Mdloti can sort out my claim, which is over R150000.00 worth of damage. I have sent no less than 20 emails and about 40 calls now, I am convinced Nkadibeng does not work there anymore as she has had an out of office reply on for 6 months, Nonthutuko doesn't even have an out of office reply, just no response whatsoever. Alpheus takes phone calls every now and then but insists that these two are the only ones that can help - IE you won't get any help!! I am starting to send an email everyday now in the hope that anyone at Joburg water can actually do something about this. Has anyone else had any luck claiming for negligence in the Joburg Water infrastructure maintenance?
Standard Bank Insurance are proving themselves completely ineffectual at processing claims and, having my best guess, would be that they are completely let down by their systems and processes. Now their help line, which is inline with their banking side is ridiculous, I dont think I have had one call that I have not been on hold before getting through to any human who can't help anyway, in under 90 minutes, whether Im number 11, 19 or 363 in the queue, the call back service is non existent but does get you off the call, promoting the next sucker in the queue!!!!! Just trying to log the claim, it took them 4 days to get back to me on this system. Now, 21 days later Std Bank have done nothing but farm the claim off to a 'loss adjuster' who says they have forwarded everything to them but Std Bank say they dont have it - guess who has to try track this down now??? They will not give anytime frame or even a ballpark date as to when they will even return a call. For the record anyone looking for insurance should look at MiWay, my neighbour, who was also effected by the municipal flooding, has already rebuildt 40m of 2.5m wall with Miway. What has happened to STD Bank??? Over the last two years the service of Std Bank has gone from mediocre to non-existent. From their ridiculous attempts at getting customers tt try to talk to there telephonic Help Bot to trying to get a simple email from them, it has turned into a 2 hour (at least, if you even achieve what you need) comedy of errors! I dare someone to try get anything from Std bank help line without talking to at minimum 3 people (at least 18 minute wait for each one) I have done this everyday for a week, I am not exaggerating here,, and still haven't got any further with any of my current requests or needs! Online banking, has been down a lot recently, seems Std Bank feel its ok to change things here and seemingly (No-one at Std Bank can tell me why) unlink accounts or profile settings without letting the owner know!! Home Loan department - trying to get information out of this department is near impossible, at present I have sent emails, phoned, begged and - crickets for over a month now. As I write this, I am now on hold for over 1 hour 13 minutes and going waiting for my fourth representative as no-one knows who I need to speak to it seems to link my account again after it miraculously unlinked between last week and today!!!! I know choosing a bank is really choosing who is going to ***** you over but surely this cannot be the norm that we have to put up with. I have noticed a lot of social media complaints recently about Std Bank in particular so Im wondering what has changed over the last few years for their service to get as bad as it has? None got any experience with Discovery Bank?
Hi All, Just a short heads up on Casey Poultry Farming Business, They are running scams on Facebook Market place and Gumtree, probably the other platforms too. Selling Poultry Coups and Greenhouses. They are based in Giyane accoding to their minimalistic webpage. The 'sales person' Nana Niomi' (or thats the name they advertise under this time) sells. in my case a greenhouse, but they advertise poultry coups too. After paying for the item of which seems like a perfectly legitimate business, as a all included package they then will phone demanding delivery fees. Even if you pay this (I got caught for half as I wasnt comfortable paying in full) they never deliver or get in contact again. All contact numbers are switched off or unreachable.
