I am.being harassed daily by City of Jhb accounts dept re account 401621686. They DO NOT OFFER SOLUTIONS, ONLY THREATS! I want to make an affordable AOD over 60 months,they refuse! I am destitute but they dont care,yesterday they handed me over to lawyers so Im being harassed every single day! They refuse to listen to what I can pay. I'm applying for debt rehabilitation...they refuse to listen. They deliberately overstated the value of a totally dilapidated property just to get double rates,Ive been to ombudsman, unsuccessfull! I am totally exhausted by dealing with COJ and often think if I commit suicide I won't have to deal with this. All they do is bully! If you lose your job in South Africa youve had it. They kept on coercing me to sign AOD'S that they knew I couldn't pay because I told them I lost my job,they dont care ,if you dont sign AOD they disconnect you. I am desperately looking for work,being educated doesn't help because age ************** is another factor so i have to start my own business. I want to sign an AOD over 60 months but they refuse so what do i do? I'm destitute but that doesn't count. Exhausted from COJ.

We have been waiting for our electricity to be reconnected since Friday 13 March. Our electricity has been off since Wednesday 11 March. It's now Tuesday the 17th of March. This is ridiculous! I'm pregnant and I have a 5 year old child. We cannot cook or have a warm bath or shower. I've had to throw away food from my fridge. How are we supposed to live like this? How do you expect me to feed my family? You have no considered for human rights. Yet, when it's time to disconnect people, you are always on time. Ref: CPWEB4908758. Last communication was yesterday identified fault, reconnection paid. So what is the hold up? If my child gets sick in this weather, it's on you people! This is an invasion of human and children's rights.

Where to start, hopeless, useless does anyone know whats they doing there. Call center sucks, they getting paid for ****, they answer and keep quite, or drop the call, no wonder there are high call volumes.when you finally get to someone who decided to do the Bare minimum of their job, they tell you to go to one of the offices, you get there no one is available cause they late, when they to get there they taking there sweet time, they go greet their colleagues, like ***, than when you do get to see someone they tell you to call the call center or the system needs updating... but you quick to send final notices to curt **** because of payment, this is your fault cause one of your your dumb @$$ systems is *****ed up because of some license or payment bull**** story, now we must wait for 4 months with no statement and they we get bill at once and when we want to make arrangements we must pay 50%, and bring salary slip and other bull **** docs, we want to may or arrange payments not buy a car... funny you cant sort out your website to provide me with correct billing details but your site can send me final notices ... you not worried about all the burst pipes all around, and the free water we paying for others. i guess you and eskom are in the battle of who can give the worse service, FYI YOU WINNING!!! just sort my Statements out correctly, and get it right this time and lets us all carry on with our lives

I have a serious issue with the water meter, it looks like there is a burst because water is running down the streets, there is influx water in front of my yard, I have reported the fault on different occasions and then it get to be closed without resolving the issue, let alone coming to check how serious it is. I have reported the same fault 4 times and all these times it gets to be closed claiming it has been resolved. We need help because it is uncomfortable to live in a wet yard. Kind Regards, Wilhemina

I am prepaid but continue to get disconnection notices to my stand for different account numbers and debtors. I suspect serious ***** at COJ but my request have been ignored my all. Minus 10 stars

When I log in and attempt to view my account, the system prompts me to “select one,” but there are no options available. Entering my account number does not allow me to proceed—nothing happens. I have also tried to use the query/complaint function regarding this issue, but I encounter the same problem.
