After seeing a discounted pair of sneakers on Bash's mobile App, I went to Bash Archive Vaal Mall. According to the App, the sneakers were available there at the discounted price. I was informed that the store had stock but they were selling them at normal price and should buy them online to get a discount. After buying the sneakers online and waiting a few days. I receiving a text message and an email with my order number and an OTP number to go pick up the order. I sent my son to pick up the order and they refused giving him the order because he doesn't have my ID with him. I tried telling both the store and the call centre that this information was never made available to me. The call centre lady insisted that this was not the case and just set the phone aside. The store refused to release my order. Order AAAB1881989.
I have an existing home loan account and at the end of October I called in and requested that my debit order date be changed from the 28th to the 25th. I then received two emails on 2nd November and I requested that the Consultant Xikombiso Maluleke call me because I needed clarity on the two emails. After speaking to her she indicated that the debit order will be effective on 25th December and I should make a transfer on 25th November. After making the transfer FNB still debited on 28 November. When I called in to enquire, another Consultant, Mishka, informed me that I should have waited for a written confirmation before making a payment. The unfortunate part is that FNB is always quick to shift the blame to their clients instead of rectifying their mistakes, and this is not the first time they are doing this.
