Fibre service is good. Support service and call centre are dreadful. Quite literally, they are the worst I've ever experienced in the private sector. Their bot, 'Sue Superfast' is an imbecile. The call centre is severely understaffed, and if your call was really important to them, they'd answer it. Don't let them wear you down into accepting 'government standards' of service. Demand better and if they don't improve, cancel their services.
The best buying experience all round. We've driven and owned all the big German and some other cars. Quite by accident, we ended up at Halfway Toyota Fourways. We were very glad we took the time to look around at the vehicles on the floor - assisted by Johan Van Amersfoort. We had no idea how broad the Toyota range was, nor how well-appointed the vehicles were at every level. We ended up taking a great, second-hand SUV in excellent condition - and what a car! The value proposition is just unreal. Coupled with the extensive warranty options and the brilliant build quality, we could not be happier. The dealership was extremely generous in a number of respects, and we see this as a massive win-win dynamic to the extent that we are now Toyota converts. Specifically, Halfway Toyota converts! The buying experience was just head and shoulders above what we had come to experience elsewhere. To highlight the great people who assisted us: - Johan Van Amersfoort managed the sale, and Silondiwe Kubheka kindly facilitated the finance application and engaged with us regularly. If you haven't been to Halfway Toyota Fourways, I strongly recommend that you do and speak to Johan. You will be very glad that you did.
I must express my extreme dissatisfaction with the handling of a recent return at School and Leisure, uniform stockists, Lonehill branch. I attempted to return a package of shirts that were mis-sized despite identical packaging and labelling. Upon inspection, it was evident that one set of shirts was significantly smaller than the other, indicating a quality control issue. Instead of a helpful resolution, I was met with hostility and accusations of the smaller garments having been worn. This was patently false, as the shirts were demonstrably unworn and retained the original creases from their packaging. While I understand the need for vigilance against *****ulent returns, the manner in which this situation was handled was unacceptable. A simple apology for the inconvenience and an assurance that the supplier would be informed of the discrepancy would have been appropriate. Regrettably, the aggressive and dismissive attitude of the staff member created an unnecessarily unpleasant experience. It is an insult that an unprofessional business such as this holds me captive on account of it being a designated uniform supplier for my childrens' school. To the woman who claimed to be "Just doing her job!" - you failed sufficiently to warrant this shocking review.
Hano and the rest of the CIT Team have been excellent over a number of years. Approximately 8 bikes later, they are now helping me move my old bikes so that I can replace them with yet another round of shiny new bikes. Thank you, gents!
