Please be aware of using Appliances 247. You drop off your electrical appliance for a quote to repaired. They quote you for parts then keep your appliance and the parts never arrive and you never see your appliance again.
Do not use We Care because they don't, they charged a ridiculous amount to repair the tumble dryer and then they took it to their workshop because the repairs could not be done on site. It's been 2 weeks now we are struggling to get it back, they keep promising delivery but nothing happens. Save your money and your appliances and go to a reputable repairs company.
In March I received a call from a Vodacom Call Centre in Durban. The Consultant said that he was phoning on behalf of Vodacom but actually they were phoning on behalf of themselves ( IE a franchised branch). The consultant informed me that my contract was up for renewal and he could renew it for me by doing it quickly over the phone. I informed him that I have always had an unlimited call package and I don't need a new device. He said he's done a record check and informed me I don't need an unlimited package and that he could save me R200 per month on a lesser package. I then told he can go ahead and reduce my current package as long as I don't experience any problems with my phone as I am always on the phone. He promised there won’t be any problems. So they then renewed the contract. In April the new package kicked in. After the first week, I received a sms saying all my airtime had been used up. I then contacted them several times complaining getting reference after reference number. They've made promises that they will sort out this issue for me. The end of April I received an account informing me I must pay R6500.00. In May they called and said they are going to charge me a penalty but then they will put me back on my unlimited package that starts 1st June. So in April and May I’ve had an excessively high accounts. I called them again and again with regards to this matter. They told me they went back to the call and reviewed the audio recording and he advised me incorrectly. I insisted I wanted to go back to my unlimited package. I had to continuously follow up as none of their promises were kept except for a Vusi chap who did get back to me and informed me that my complaint has been resolved and that I would receive a credit. It went back and forth like this with me just paying out of my own pocket time and time again until last Friday when the sales manager did not phone me as promised and instead my phone was suspended and my sim card cancelled without warning. Their prompt system does not work as every time I entered my number to receive help, the system informs me that my number does not exist. Although I was forced to pay the full outstanding account just to get back on line, there is still no help available to switch me back on even though the system shows that I am paid up to date. To date I am one week without a phone. I am incredibly unhappy with Vodacom’s service and cannot wait to change networks as I have been a customer with them since cell phones came out and now I am so disappointed that I get treated like a number, like an unimportant client. I will never use Vodacom again and will suggest that no one ever uses them as well.
