Dear Mzansi Express Bus Services , I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received during my recent trip on the 12th of September 2023 at 15:18 from Pretoria to Zimbabwe. Despite paying R1000 for a full ticket, I was shocked to find that I was expected to sit on a bucket throughout the entire journey. This level of discomfort and disregard for passenger comfort is completely appalling. As a paying customer, I expected to have a seat that meets basic standards of comfort and safety. Sitting on a bucket for such a long journey is not only unacceptable but also poses a risk to my well-being. I kindly request that you address this issue promptly and provide compensation for the subpar service I experienced. I hope that you take this matter seriously as this is against consumer law and would not like to this the legal route. I have attached a picture of how I traveled. Sincerely, Maureen Mubaiwa
I’m actually disappointed about the service I’m getting from Travelstart. I’ve requested to change my travel dates but was told that it’s not urgent enough so have to wait up to 72hrs to get a response from the department that deals with changing dates. What is appalling is that when they finally decide to make my matter urgent there might not be space in the flight or the prices would have shot up. Why don’t they just give us an option to change it and pay by ourselves on the website since it looks like the job is too much for them.
