I have recently been persuaded by Telkom to "upgrade" to fibre. What a big mistake. This line is sooooo poor and the connectivity so weak that I am unable to use my computer. Despite reporting the problem for days now no one has come to attend to the poor line speed. All speed tests indicate VERY poor connectivity and Telkom does not apprear to be interested. Please think twice before moving to Fibre with Telkom.
I have had the unfortunate experience in dealing with Dewald du Plessis when I entrusted his company to transport my furniture from Pretoria to Cape Town. He was uncommunicative and uncooperative. High value furniture was broken, a persian carpet went missing and a box was damaged leading to a decorative plate being broken. After assuring me that the cost included insurance it now appears as if he either has no insurance or only partial cover as he refuses to replace the broken item of furniture or have it professionally repaired. He is also not prepared to replace the carpet that just disapeared into thin air. Please dont do business with this company. There word is worth nothing. And to add insult to injury, his motto "Tot u diens". Clearly not.
Your lack of support and assistance over this time that I have been ill has been no less than uncaring and actually unprofessional. Clearly Discovery medical aid means more to you than assisting clients in need. And Gary from management, shame on you for not bothering to reply to my email. You do not deserve to manage anyone since you are totally unprofessional yourself.
