Customer service is pathetic. When you have an issue with the connectivity or any queries. Set aside 3-5 days for your issue to be resolved.
MTN’s service is the most pathetic I have ever come across. They lack of planning as a business had been made the consumers take the fall. My contract with Mtn clearly states I am to be debited on the last day of the month. In Sept they claim to have had system glitches. Fair enough. But who notified the consumers that your debit orders will be delayed? All my debit orders are for the last day of the month. The next day I move all my funds into a savings account, for security reasons. Mtn comes into my account, on an unauthorized date. Leaving me with unpaid debit order fees. I called in to query this as I was under the assumption all my debits had gone off. I then make an arrangement for them to debit me again as I was going to fund my account. We agreed on the next day. Mtn didn’t show up. 5 days later I get another unpaid debit order fee. In total I have lost R220 and they will still charge me R15 per failed debit order. Now Mtn. Who should be held reliable for this dilemma?
