Why is it impossible to speak to a manager when your order is messed up and the answers from the call centre vague. Promised call back from a manager also did not materialize. They lost a washing machine in transit that was ordered by me. Lose a washing machine? I have never received such bad service before. I have been a long time client with Takealot, but this may change my mind.
Last two days I am unable to access the web trading platform. I can not reach the help desk by phone. Only have to listen to "We are experiencing high call volumes at the moment". I urgently need to trade as money is needed for other transactions I have committed to. My request for help by email has also gone unanswered. How can you do business with such an institution. At present I am planning to change my Broker for share trading as no help is forthcoming from ABSA Stockbrokers. Not even a general message on their web page to explain that they have problems.
Digitally subscribed to Popular Mechanics. This company is no longer reachable at their web address. I renewed my digital subscription in March 2020, but have not received a single copy on this subscription.
