For a first time stay at this place, I was absolutely shocked at the horrible service received and rudeness of staff. We had a family stay for 3 nights and upon checking into the resort, they had my booking all mixed up and incorrect rooms allocated which was not the start I expected. On the second day we got back from breakfast only to find that our room door was left wide open by one of the cleaning staff, with all our belongings inside, and nobody was there. Such a huge risk and absolutely negligent behaviour. On the third day it rained heavy and we rented an umbrella to get around the resort and eventually returned the item back to reception in the late afternoon only to then be shouted at on the phone 15mins later that we had not returned the item. I have never encountered such rude and disrespectful tone from staff at a hotel before and this is one experience I will never forget. Instead of enquiring in a calm manner, the lady on the line shouted so loudly at me for the umbrella that I had to pass the phone to my husband to rectify the issue as I could not listen to her rudeness anymore. Furthermore, my kids went to the restaurant to order lunch and had to wait almost 3 hours for their food to be ready because the first time they placed the order, the restaurant brought them beef burgers instead of chicken and then ignored them for such a long time before they eventually prepared their food. My kids are 14 and 16 and they were not with any adult at the time and for the restaurant staff to treat them this way was absolutely shocking! On the day of our departure, I left my jackets, jersey and two blouses in the cupboard and called backed to them to let them know I had forgotten those items and if they could recover it and leave it with friends we had staying at the resort. They only found my husbands jacket and none of my items which is very strange as all the items were together. This only meant that the cleaning staff had stolen my stuff and even after advising the manager and the security manager, I have not received any feedback as to what steps were taken by them to try and retrieve my items that went missing. They have no clue about customer satisfaction and I would not recommend this resort to anyone. Please be aware that if you do leave anything behind in error, they do not have honest staff and will not do anything to recover your items for you. Their only concern is making money and once they receive your payment they do not bother if you are a satisfied guest or not! I will certainly not be going back to this resort ever again!!!!
Service providers to this business beware!!! They will exploit you and deduct money unnecessarily from your invoices. Furthermore they quote prices ex vat but when it comes to invoices being issued for payment they send it back and request invoices without vat. They are a bunch of unprofessional and unscrupulous people who expect jobs to be done on their vehicles at below cost prices. They do not pay on time and one has to continuously follow up for payment weeks after a job has been done. They do not have proper processes in place and just randomly deduct amounts off invoices. They work on a system whereby they onboard small businesses that are trying to grow in the industry and then expect these small businesses to do the work and once work is completed, they then withhold payment and find every excuse not to pay in full. Very unprofessional, no values whatsoever and total lack of credibility! Absolutely appalling to have to deal with their management namely Waseem and Candice! Don’t fall victim to their tactics as it may seem all good in the beginning but as you get to deal with them on a regular basis, the ugliness eventually surfaces.
Most horrible experience ever! No hand sanitizer, no hand towels and no hand soap provided in apartment! Totally against Covid protocols! When I complained to the GM, Angie, I was told that they fumigate the apartment and only provide sanitizer at the reception and do not provide sanitizer in the apartment as it is self catering! Furthermore, the door and bed is broken, no proper utensils in the kitchen, place has a funny odour and overall the place is very poorly maintained and no value for money! The manager Angie offered me a credit as I had to leave the place early due to a family emergency, and insisted on a credit instead of a refund as they do not provide refunds. After much reluctance I accepted the credit and received in writing on email from Angie the credit offered to me and indicating that I could rebook within a 12 month period. I then proceeded to provide a review of my experience on the booking platform and gave honest feedback of exactly what I encountered while at the property. I was then sent a very nasty response from Angie accusing me of having “malicious intentions” and that due to me giving them a poor review, my credit has been revoked! I have never encountered such unprofessional and unscrupulous behavior! I would never recommend this place to anyone!
