I had a terrible experience and service from the lady that came to wax me from “Gelly Mobile beauty” she burnt my face and left hair patches everywhere. She wouldn’t listen when I asked her and I was unhappy through out.
We booked and paid R1800 for a standard room for 2 with breakfast on the Radisson app (3weeks before the booked date) later we received an email as per our late check out request and something special for our first anniversary. the person that emailed us from Radisson told us they would upgrade us to a higher lever room and give us a complimentary platter, which we were so excited and looking forward for your stay and celebration. We get there to check on the booked date (31/12/2020) the room wasn’t upgraded as promised, no complimentary platter, and to make it worse the fridge and Aircon weren't working (the aircon do the whole whole hotel wasn’t working) i dial to the reception and explain them, they said they’ll send a technician to check, which he only finally came after 40mins. The technician says he’ll have to replace the fridge and aircon hasn’t been working past 2 days, he can’t do much about it as the companies that repair are closed. . I go down to report at the reception they tell me the aircon hasn’t been working past 2 days but they have someone fixing it since morning (another lie) They were so rude to us and embarrassed usike we were the ones with faults. I told them if they would have notified us about aircon before our check in date we would have either cancelled booking or changed our dates. They kept us sitting and waiting at the reception another hour just to refund us, I kept telling them please try understand this day was meant for my partner and me to relax and celebrate.. they wouldn’t listen, because they werent happy to refund. They kept saying it’s not our fault and we can’t solve the problem. I was in tears, it’s my first day of periods and they behaved poorly, awful service, they weren’t sorry or helpful. . I was speaking to the manager (an Indian lady) and she was the most arrogant. After the refund she went to her office (which has a see through glass) and with her fellow staff inside the office laughing and starting at us. During the refund they kept on insisting that I must stay at their other hotel down the road (Radisson Gautrain) because it’s easier than refunding us. Eventually we managed to get a checkout and refund at 5;40pm, considering our dinner booking of 5pm was cancelled and all the other plans to a memorable anniversary. I have stayed at Radisson twice before (2018) and I m aware it’s a reputable hotel chain and hence chose to book for our anniversary there.. unaware this could be an awful experience and a terrible customer service a hotel like Radisson could offer. Highly disappointed, I was turned back with tears, and they could not bother do do anything about it.
I bought a pack of chocolate digestive biscuits and twizzlers few days ago. Paid full price for them. It was for my niece and nephew. Their mum calls me to say the stuff was expired long time and one of the child is having a severe tummy pain and running tummy. I phoned melrose arch flower market and the lady who spoke to me wasn’t apologetic, instead said calmly “we can only refund you for the items that haven’t been opened” The digestive biscuits where expired since 2018 and twizzlers since September 2020.. and she says she is inward of the expiry! A 2 years expired product that wasn’t even marked down and all they can do is refund me for an unopened item!!
