My Account has been frozen due to fraudulent activity. I eventually got in contact with Beverly Nukeri, the investigator assigned to my case. After talking to her on the phone she said it sounded pretty simple and that she would remove the hold from my account, then when I went to the ATM I found my account was still blocked. I called her exactly 78 times in a course of 3 days, as well as sent numerous emails to her. I received a reply eventually saying that a case had been opened and that I had to get in contact with the "Lintosyn" police station, I could not find this anywhere and again tried to call as well as email but never got any response from her. Eventually I called the fraud line again and asked the lady on the phone to check what police station I am supposed to get in contact with, when she checked on the system an entirely different name for the police station was added on the system by Beverly, she also noted that she informed me I need to get an affidavit from the police station before she can do anything which I also never got from her. Today after 21 days I finally received a response from her telling me that she is still waiting for evidence(which a gave in December already) before she can take the case further she also told me I signed that I was not going to do anything fraudulent and if I have a problem I should open a case against FNB. And now again I cannot get a hold of her. From my side I have got the affidavit and all messages pictures as well as voice notes to prove my innocence in this case yet I can still not speak to her or get an answer from her. How long is this supposed to take and why am I not kept in the loop ? if she needs anything from me surely she should contact me and ask me for it but if I don't get in contact nobody helps me. Beverly even went as far as to say that FNB might not want me as a client if I am found guilty, but to be really honest if I have to fight just to get assistance then I do not want to be a client and I will make sure that wherever I go people will know the type of people who work for FNB.
on Wednesday 23 December 2020 I was at the FNB ATM to withdraw money and found that my account had been frozen, after calling the customer care department and speaking to numerous people I was told that I have to wait for an investigator to contact me as there had been fraud on my account. Nobody could tell me who to speak to or even help me and kept telling me an investigator should call me the same day. We are now 5 days later and no one has contacted me and I also do not have access to my funds in my account. This is totally ridiculous, how am I supposed to survive if FNB just decides to block my account whenever they see fit and not even get in contact with me to inform me or even help me sort it out.
We went to the Boksburg branch on Thursday, got what we wanted and paid in full. The arrangement was that we were going to get our delivery Saturday morning after 9. by 11 we called the branch and Malcolm the branch manager told us that he would call us back in 5 minutes because there might not be stock in Midrand. For 3 hours after that we tried getting a hold of someone and every time they tell us they will call us back. Eventually we spoke to Malcolm just after 14:00, and he told us that he has other people to help and that he doesn't have time to sort us out now he doesn't sit around all day waiting for us. Since then we have gone back to the branch where Malcolm works, he just sat at his table on his cellphone not even acknowledging that we are there or even tried to help us. Till now I keep talking to people who say they will assist and try help but we get no response from them what so ever. Even if you called us back and said you cant deliver on Saturday and we make other arrangements I would have accepted that but the pure rudeness from the staff was astonishing. You obviously make so much money during this time that you do not need out sales because I am not the only unhappy one and it doesn't seem to get better at all.
