I first used parcelspot in March this year to send a parcel to Australia and i gave them a glowing review because my parcel arrived on time and intact. Going by the good experience that I had with them, I sent another parcel through them to the UK. My recipient then notified me of a change of address and I quickly sent through the change via an email to Craig and even followed up with a call and in both media, he told me that the change had been effected... all this was before the parcel had even landed in the UK according to the tracking records. The parcel finally arrived in the UK but at the original address that was supposed to hat been changed by Craig. I sent emails to Craig asking him to explain but he has not rep****. I have tried calling and my calls always get cut. I believe he fiddled with the tracking messages on their website because it did show the new address for a while and I was put at ease....but on the day of delivery, the Parcelspot site "miraculously" showed the old address. I had even put a note for the recipient to be called prior to delivery and that never happened. I am now left with trying to find out who took receipt of the parcel and hopefully it has not been ******. I would have preferred to be told the truth and not be **** to by Craig. The whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I really have no kind words for Parcelspot and Craig in particular. The Parcelspot website now states that they are no longer taking parcels effective from the 1st of June 2023 but will conclude with those taken before that date. I believe there's karma...what goes around comes around Craig!
I had a burst geyser and quickly called the emergency department of Discovery Insure and was attended to by Peter Thabo Mokoena. I don't even have the words to describe the professionalism of this gentleman. He quickly arranged for a plumber to come through to assess and kept calling to check up on as to whether the plumber had been. The plumber checked and verified that it was indeed a burst geyser. No sooner had the plumber left, Thabo called to tell me that he had received the report of the assessment and guided me on how to get hold of the claims department to lodge a claim. I followed his steps and it all went smoothly and my claim has been approved. Thanks Thabo, continue the good work you are doing. And like I told you, it's because of people like you that we love Discovery Insure.
