Useless Ambledown
Please do not use Ambledown for your gap cover. I put a legitimate claim in to them in March this year. Despite following up and answering all of their repeated queries they have not yet settled my claim

Vodacom does not deliver
I signed up for a new Iphone 12 with Vodacom before Easter through one of their call centres. RAM couriers were supposed to handle the delivery direct to me. I admit that I was very busy at that time and as it had to be delivered to me personally it had to be at a mutually agreeable time. I spoke personally with the courier driver on a number of occasions but to no avail. RAM even said that they would agree to deliver it to my son's house but that did not materialize. Now I see that my contract has been extended but where is my phone. You can NEVER find the right person to contact to find out what is happening. Typical of a large company, they think nothing about their customers as you are just a small fish in the large ocean.

Spineless CBA Central
I would suggest that that you think twice before entering into a rental agreement with CBA, once you have signed on the dotted line that's it. My business, like many others ran into financial problems with a loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We had to sell our offices and have no place for the equipment rented/leased through CBA. Asked them for a reduced settlement in the interest of both parties, as we have paid them many times over for the value of the equipment, but not interested. Still want to ***** us for the full value of the lease. We have spoken to them but it falls on deaf ears. Their BEE Certificate is also no assistance so why support them at all.

Shocking Towbar
Not too long ago needed a towbar fitting to our Bantam bakkie. Searched around and found Towbars Cape to be the lowest. Should have stuck to our local fitment centre. It took more than 5 hours as they fabricate the unit in their workshop. They did a shocking job. It rattled against the exhaust, they damaged the exhaust mounting, it was not central and it is rusting. Stay far away if possible.

A job well done by PS Contracting for Pool Solutions
My marbelite pool was leaking and in poor condition. My two sons had terrible experiences with repairing their pools with fibreglass so I researched and found Pool Solutions. They recommended a local contractor to me called PS Contracting. Well I can tell you that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Du Toit Shreve and his team did an excellent job. They were efficient, on time and nice to deal with. Whenever someone tells me that they have a lining issue with their pool, I will have no hesitation in recommending them for the job.
