I'm happy with the service from their consultants however, I'm not happy about their premiums. Each time you change location it goes up irregardless of where you're moving to. You can move from Sandton to Alex then it goes up but if you move back to Sandton it doesn't go down it'll still go up. And they'll tell you it's due to inflation. They leave you no choice knowing that you have paid them all these years and if you leave them then you'll lose your premiums. Even if you have never claimed before they don't take this into account when reviewing your premiums.
I received an updated policy schedule for my car insurance and then I found that they have increased my excess amount without calling to let me know. I called them and they gave me some lame excuses as to why it was increased. One of them was that they have managed to fulfil other customer's claims, I mean what does that have to do with me, I have never claimed at all since my policy commenced 4 and a half years ago. According to my knowledge, excess is linked to premiums, the higher the premiums the lower the excess and vice versa. So now they increased my excess but my premiums stayed the same. This is daylight ******* straight!!!
Last year September a vodacom consultant called and told me that one of my numbers on my contact qualifies for migration. He told me it's free of charge and that my monthly bill will not increase. I asked him several times if it's really free and he said yes. I then agreed to the migration. Month end on my statement I noticed that my monthly bill has increased, I then checked and found that it's due to the migration which I was told would be free of charge. I then called vodacom to enquire. They then listened to the recording of my call with the consultant and found that he lied to me by telling me that it was free of charge. Vodacom then told me that they'll reimburse me for the additional charge on my contract. That is, they will credit my account with an amount equivalent to the monthly additional payments which I'm supposed to make for 18 months. This was however not done. Everytime I checked my account the money was not loaded. So till this day this has not been resolved. Their consultant misrepresented himself but now I'm paying even though I thought the migration was free. This is just so unfair.
I bought a house plan in 2018, the guy (owner) charged me 6k. He then asked that I pay an upfront payment of 3k so that he can start with the drawings. After a few days he phoned me and told me he's done and that I must pay the remainder in order to get the drawings. I paid the amount and after that he didnt send me anything for months. I ended up asking someone older to request the drawings on my behalf since I was young and thought he's undermining me. He then sent the drawings which were old and are of bad quality, no specifications, dimensions were incomplete, no titleblock, nothing. The drawing was like a rough sketch which cannot be utilized for construction, as I am typing this now I am struggling to build the house and it pains me because I paid for the drawing. I doubt that the other reviews were written by happy clients, its a scam. If there was a negative rating I would gladly give this company one.
Worst experience ever, dishonest sales people. They dont disclose all the information when they tell you about available contracts. When I signed my contract I was never told that the contract is only for that specific gym meaning I cant go to another gym, also the sales person lied that I can downgrade anytime only to find that its only possible after 6 months into the contract. Lastly, should you miss some payments they send Hawks (Landau Attorneys) to demand the payments as if you asked them for a loan. Signing their gym contract was the biggest mistake I have ever made in my life. So far the total membership amount that I have paid is around 5k and I've only set foot in the gym only 3 times if im not mistaken.
