After completing matric in 2024 my daughter started the BED Foundation phase degree (distance learning). Student nr:25238386 This was a total disaster as she had concession assistance at school for dislexia reading exam papers. She struggled and made various helpdesk tickets, phoned and held on until all her airtime was finished many times, sent e-mails, but still the feedback was poor and vague, mostly she was referred to do another helpdesk ticket. The Stadio platform was found to be difficult and not user friendly. Needless to say she only passed one model. The rest she couldn't grasp what to submit, where to find it and even missed exams because of not knowing when to write. As a mother I take responsibility for some of the failures as I did not assist her, and was under the impression she understood what to do. She said that the work itself is not that difficult but to know what to do and where to find the info and when is a struggle. This year I promised to assist, I printed and read the Stadio guidelines as well as BED foundation documentation. Full of bravery and hope I started phoning, e-mailing, Facebook messenger- anything to make contact with Stadio, but to NO AVAIL. We want to re-register, in one of the phone conversations, the forms was promised to be mailed to us, still nothing! Her (MY STADIO) is not accepting the password, we tried (forget password) but the reset is sent somewhere else. The CANVAS Platform is working fine. I held on for 40 minutes at a time - spoke to IT, Registrations the BED Foundation phase division and everyone keeps passing the buck. I mailed KoketsoR@stadio.ac.za, infodl@stadio.ac.za, MasegoK@stadio.ac.za, stadiostudentadvisor@stadio.ac.za. ALL I requested is to re-register, and assistance to be able to access MY STADIO with a user and password that is working. Everyone from stadio has since rep**** to "escalate" the issue to the BED Foundation phase division. Even IT drpt could not assist. I was up to the challenge and full of expectations, but not anymore. I am now dissapointed and frustrated. I am considering to request a refund and try another distance learning company, like AROS. The contraceptive Minesse is not available anywhere in South Africa, and the supplier Pfizer have not supplied any reason why. The pharmacy just expect clients to change contraceptive. Is this fair. What is going on. Why is this happening. Is there no other supplier in South Africa?
Hi, instead of replying and apologizing, Karibaa had my review removed because according to the outlines I "threatened" them when I asked at what national protection forum for consumers can I get them reported. Instead of just complaining I wanted to know what action can be taken to protect onsumers? They robbed me of R1682.00!!. They took my money and are "playing dead" while I asked for my refund. Does anyone know a hacker that can go on their website with the words "SCAMMERS DO NOT BUY ANYTHING! First check Helo Peter" That is what I should have done. Consumers should be protected.
Of course I did not do my homework and placed an order with Karibaa.com on 14 September. The item was out of stock and was promised a refund by Tebogo and Amber. I could only communicate via email, support@karibaa.com. No phone is ever being answered. Numbers are as follows: 084 366 3170 or 011 568 7959. But instead of just warning consumers and complaining, what else can be done? I want to shut down this fraudulent company. On which official platforms can a consumer go to actually report the company? There is the Sout-African consumer complaints, who will assist for a fee, the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud, where else?
