Ordered online and got an order number. After a week nothing. I sent an email requesting a swop in color in an item before the sale ended. Long story short…total waste of time and energy. Apparently my email reached them before but the request was made after. I had to pay in difference of the increased price. I will Never deal with them again
I recently bought Simple Truth pizza bases from Checkers. It’s a brand that sells Simple Truth, its new private label wellness range. All Simple Truth products adhere to three promises: No artificial colours or flavours No artificial sweeteners No added MSG 2 years ago I was close to death and after a long stay in hospital with extensive test, have been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease. My diet has to be strictly gluten-free & lactose free. The pizza bases had some cheese on it. I assume it must have been from a previous batch. I took pictures and sent it of to Checkers. They told me they would contact the supplier and get back to me. A few weeks later, I received a call from one of the customer care agents. The supplier noted that it was a mistake and that it was picked up and that the staff member would receive proper training. In the first place, this should not have happened. The batch should not have gone out and the order should have been retrieved back from the stores. How do we know how careful they are with the other products i.e GLUTEN??? The brand also has items containing gluten. I received NO feedback from the supplier. The case was already closed by the time I called back. I was offered a good will of R100 from Checkers!!! I cannot believe that they think my health is worth R100. Highly disappointed and sad. I have been buying most of my products from the range. From oats, peanut butter, cookies, milk, chips healthy bars etc etc. for the last 2 and a half years. No formal apology from management or the supplier. I WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS AND WILL NOT ADVISE PEOPLE WITH SERIOUS ALLERGIES TO PURCHASE THEM People with allergies please be aware!!!
I desperately needed a haircut after having my hair shaven about 6months ago. It was unruly and needed ti be styled. I made an online appointment with another Salon as as I was running late called them to inform, but only to discover I was not booked. I quickly called Studio 59 and could fit me in immediately! Although I have used their services regularly before, I was unsure about the appointment as I had been living abroad and stopped using them. Nothing had changed since 2015! Still some of the stylist who used to do my hair hair then. I was surprised that even though I was wearing a mask, I was recognised. I was very happy with my haircut and will certainly return! Beautiful salon, professional staff and excellent service and good prices as always!
My favourite place to visit on a Sunday or any other day. The****utic and so beautiful to visit. I love walking around and looking and the vast variety of roses. Best value for money and healthy rose plants. Not only do the sell roses but a variety of products like essential oils, air freshener, rose infused products, rose care, masks etc etc. Its worth a visit. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean toilets and lovely rose infused soap, sanitizer. It has been a a sanctuary for me during this difficult period of Covid! Thank you Ludwigs!
Excellent and professional service all round! It is the second time we took our car for a service and each time I could feel the difference. Smooth and faster! Our car, Mercedes Benz is now 10 years old and no longer on a motor plan. Jody Temmers the owner used to service our BMW at Auto Atlantic for years. We followed him after he decided to open up his own business. Reliable and trustworthy! We do not hesitate to drive all the way from Houtbay to Bellville as we used to do it when with the BMW, driving to Stellenbosch and then Canalwalk when he transferred to that branch. I can honestly recommend JLT!
