When at at Checkers in Kenilworth Centre (Cape Town) sometimes one is charged the incorrect price for an item - it is more than price advertised in the pamphlet or it is more than the price marked on the shelf. One then raises the issue with the Customer Care staff member, as I did today (Th 16 Jan). After checking that the customer is correct, the difference is refunded. My complaint is that the staff at this outlet seldom if ever apologize. They do not say "I apologize for the inconvenience". Today I suggested that it would be appropriate for her to say "I apologize for the inconvenience" after she had treated me in a sullen manner and taken an overly long time to assist me. She misunderstood what I said, and (assuming I was apologizing to her!) she said "It's alright, don't worry!" Clearly her training has not included the module on apologizing to the customer when the store is in error. This is typical of my experience at Checkers in KC, which I visit every week.
I was so pleased with the assistance and service I received at GAME in Kenilworth Centre, Cape Town this morning. I was intent on purchasing a vacuum cleaner and had found the same model online, but was having trouble with my cell phone, which I needed to show the lower retail price on the internet. The supervisor and cashier were so very helpful, friendly and made me feel valued and unrushed! I saved R110 on the offer. Thank you GAME and those two employees - you are great!
There is an online menu for KFC found under 'menusouthafrics.org' entitled KFC MENU UPDATED PRICES 2024. I used this website to order at KFC and found that the cappuccino was not as advertised R19.90, but a whole lot more. When I complained about the incorrect price advertised I received no apology nor explanation, simply the usual "We are concerned about customer satisfaction" and so on. I was annoyed at the incorrect information and would have anticipated an apology, not a message generated by a bot. I think Col Sanders would agree with me.
I would like to write a review about Dialdirect. I am very pleased with the generous manner in which they resolved the problem with my premiums. Ayanda from their head office was charming and efficient, and with her assistance we resolved my complaint. I am happy with the outcome and look forward to continuing my relationship with Dialdirect as my trusted insurer. John Broster
Since January 2024, Dialdirect have been deducting more than the agreed premium each month and I am unable to stop them. I have emailed them regularly, and this continues every month. How do I stop them doing this? How do I get a refund or credit for their ******* and dishonest deductions?
What a pleasure to call at the Scoin Shop in Canal Walk. I was assisted in a very professional and friendly manner. My transaction could not have been easier or more pleasant. Thank you!
I sent an email to Pep last week (12 January 2024) commenting on the misleading packaging of an item sold to me at Pep Home (Kenilworth Centre). I also indicated that I felt demeaned by the shop assistant who refunded me. I used the "Contact" email system on their website. They have failed to respond, which I consider bad manners and poor public relations.
The Rosmead Pick n Pay (Cape Town) is such a well run store that it is a pleasure to visit. The manager is hands on, and always available and friendly and helpful. The shelves are well stocked. The parking is free and safe. The staff are cheerful and eager to assist. The Roastery coffee outlet, with its friendly barrister, is a welcome bonus. The store feels more personal than many of the larger Pick n Pay outlets. They're getting things right! Well done!
Tuesday 20 June, 11:30am at Kirstenbosch gardens. It is mid-winter and the weather has been ever so cold and wet. We get a warm welcome by the hostess at the entrance to Moyo and the waiter is cheerful and helpful. BUT, there is no fire in the hearth. Can we order decaf coffee? Sorry, it is out of stock. What about ****ins? Not available, they are in the oven and will take 45 minutes. Okay, then let's have scones. Sorry, we have no scones. They are being cooked. Moyo, you should do better than this! Where is the management?! Very, very disappointing.
What an excellent supermarket! Wide unobstructed aisles, shelves that are not so high that one can't reach the top row, no stock shortage of special offers, helpful and professional cashiers, and a manager who is efficient and people centered when it comes to both staff and customers. Now there's also a coffee station and with my Smart Shopper I can enjoy a cappuccino for less than R20. I really enjoy this branch of Pick n Pay!
